He would've had no trouble at all. The fact that there was an almost universal defence of Schiano from the football establishment upon our disgraceful backing out of the deal tells me the exact opposite.

You always get pieces like this when a team is losing. Many coaches learn from their mistakes when things don't work. Look at Doug Marrone, similar criticisms were made of his coaching style.
