If his punishment really was in house, I dont see why you hurt the team by not playing him. He might not start but he'll likely play a lot of snaps and wouldn’t be surprised to see him in all 3 phases.

Think its been much more about their DL. They do have talented DB's but they have never been unbeatable on the backend. They have been able to control the LOS. When a team can stop us from running without loading the box our offense struggles badly.

Yes Eric did return as a freshman but Evan has the SEC record for kick return average. He is also tied for most KR TD's in SEC history

Think he ment Eric's little brother. He is easily our greatest return guy and he showed up in the clutch. The Dobbs hail mary doesn't happen without his great kickoff return

ND pass game sucked so if he could throw it they probably would have given him a few snaps considering their starter was basically an RB. We dont have to be better than ND we just need to be better than Syracuse on opening day.

That saying only applies to QB's. The RB committee has worked for us for 4 straight seasons. Small, Wright, & Sampson were a pretty good trio. Wright & Sampson in particular had time to grow into upper-tier backs.

Yeah but he could have been considered an upperclassman as a Sophomore. He played a lot of football very early.
