Utah State opens as early Vegas favorite @Tennessee

And of those 4 losses by 4 TDs how many were at home?

I think only Auburn.

But the 32 point whoopin they put on you was not nearly that close.

They shortened the game a ton by only attempting 7 pass plays.

They could have won by 50.

Don't get your magic underpanties in a bunch. You poked the bear and got a rise out of us. Congratulations.

I only hope your football staff, like you, thinks the last 3 seasons are representative of this program, its players, and its coaches.

Not in a bunch at all.

Now remind us of all of those big wins...

UT schedule is infinitely more difficult. I have never said anything other than that.

This does not make the 3-4 easy games on the schedule any less easy. BTW 80+% of those are at home.

What you're doing is disrespectfully telling us how much our team sucks, can't win SEC games, play cream puffs, etc. I'm just lending a little balance, a little perspective to your insults. I won't be going on your Aggie fan forum discussing the ineptitude of your programs history.... would appreciate you doing the same on here.

Let me ask you a question and I want you to be honest in your answer. If you knew every single conference game will likely be a top 10 or top 25 team and had an ooc that was also a top 10 team. Which is our case every year.

Here's the question. Would you schedule even more top teams on top of that? Honestly, with a schedule that brutal why would you not put the only few remaining games as sort of gimmes. It wouldn't make sense to say ahh we already have the schedule full of top teams, what the hell we'll just slap these last few on there as well.

They hardly pass the ball to begin with and im pretty sure it was 20-20 until Corey grant returned a punt near halftime then the wheels fell off. But to say it was never close is not an accurate statement. We lost to teams that were in the top 3 or 4 of their division in the strongest conference in the country.

Who did you all lose to?

It's a funny thing that team was playing in the national championship. And the other team that put it on us was the team they beat with a last second freak return to get there.

Oregon I'm not worrying about. It was a road game and the first game with a new staff.

Really? How often does a fan base that has been through what we have in recent years sellout 102,455? If there's one thing that is surprising to everyone, it's how we still get that many fans with the seasons we've been having.

Btw, yes I'm telling you for a fact Wisconsin wouldn't hold a candle to neyland and auburn is about the only thing you have that you can claim coming close. Now add 20k people and a different designed stadium and you have a much louder experience.

"All I can remember is the stadium shaking," Percy Harvin said of his first game as a Gator in the largest stadium in the SEC. "That and not being able to hear (Tim) Tebow make the calls."

2. Tennessee - “Rocky Top” will be played 47 times throughout the game and you will know the words before you leave whether you like it or not. I have been to Knoxville twice with the most recent being the LSU game in 2006. Neyland Stadium is the best stadium I have seen built to keep noise inside the stadium. When LSU was faced with key 3rd and 4th down attempts late in the 4th quarter I could not hear my friend Greg Newman to my left. He was trying to tell me something and I felt deaf or hard of hearing for those twenty seconds. When the Vols run out of the power “T” the fans get pretty loud, but it is loud throughout the game.

It goes on and on... Oregon has been in some big games themselves. After playing us chip Kelly was interviewed. He said we talked all week about not being bothered by it, but once we walked out onto the field you could tell the players were in awe. They were staring around. We played at michigan I'm front of 115k, but it was nothing like neyland. The layout went out instead of up, so when you walk out it's like this skyward tower of fans all around you.

I'm sure if he was impressed after Michigan then Wisconsin won't compare.

I get it. It's a great stadium with a great crowd. And it is very very loud.

How many games would you say Neyland won during the past 6 seasons? Which ones?

BTW, Chip Kelly made those comments after winning by 5 TD's. It must not have affected his team too much.

I'll try to up my game...

I'll make sure everything I say is fact-based with no speculation or I will reference someone else's published analysis/evaluation/speculation.

If I was the AD/HC at UT, I would schedule very close to the way they schedule.

all this yapping from this lapdog will stop after the game. let him keep on. who cares.youre best DB is a kid that couldnt cut it here and got torched by Troy.

Oregon has been on another level lately. As in competing for NC.

Btw, did you watch that game or just see the final score? It was tied up at 13 at half time. We were running the ball down their throats. Even the commentators couldn't believe how well we were handling them.

A near tornado came through halfway through the game. Lightning constantly and a torrential downpour. Fans had to evacuate the stadium and a huge delay happened. Teams re-took the field and it was never the same. All the momentum we had was gone and the atmosphere was deflated. We still wouldn't have won, but that game turned uglier than it would've IMO.

This is kind of an interesting chart.

Tennessee, Utah State, Stats, Records, Odds, Power ratings, Against the Spread, Injuries - Linemakers - Sporting News

Before you get white and shaky, I do realize the level of competition is different and I do realize that this is last year.

Still... Utah State better than UT in 4/5 offensive statistical categories. And Utah State better than UT in 4/5 defensive statistical categories.

UT will get better, while USU will stay the same or get slightly worse due to attrition.

Does this chart take into account your crappy competition?

My son's high school team had a better record and better O/D stats than USU. I guess by your logic that says something about how they would fare against the Aggies.

Well congratulations are clearly in order. You apparently fared better statistically vs your schedule which included exactly NO teams in the final AP Top 25 rankings than Tennessee did vs their schedule which was comprised of 5 of the Top 9 teams in the country and 6 of the top 24..... Wow, just amazing.... you should hit everybody's football forum with that nugget. Those wins vs Colo St, Wyoming, Air Force, Weber St, San Jose St, New Mexico, UNLV and Hawaii are really something to crow about. Why.... I'm feeling white and shaky right about now.....

Just browsed one of their message boards. Some of those fans rival Vandy fans. It's funny what a little bit of "success" can do to a fan base.

USU has 5 winning seasons since 1980. UT has had 6 losing seasons since 1980. Yet our friend here would act as if winning were the norm for his Aggies or losing was the norm for the Vols.

I'm beginning to look forward to this game... ALOT.
