'15 NM QB Zach Gentry

You should take your own advice and ignore the comments made about Saban. Its a cycle bro

EDIT: I realized I shouldn't have said bro... I don't want you to try to make out with me.... or is that just a cousin thing?

Just messin witcha

I didn't get upset about the comment he made about Saban and I don't see a reason for anyone to get upset about my comment. I expect Vol fans to diss Saban and Bama. It comes with the territory. No harm, no foul.

A Vol fan should be able to express his opinion about Saban following Butch's lead without a Bama fan giving his smartass 2 cents. Nobody cares whether you think it's right or wrong. If you don't like it, sit behind your keyboard and snicker.

If you want an ass-kissing Saban lovefest, Tuscaloosa is about 4 hours south. Turn left at the trailer court. Ya can't miss it.

Man what is going on on this site? Does anybody monitor it? Why can't someone voice an opinion without being attacked if it's not been first approved by the majority of the board? I come to this board for the info, but lately it seems it's getting worse by the week. There are several things said in here I don't agree with, but everyones entitled to their own opinion. I don't like seeing the attacks on recruits after they pick another school. I don't like seeing list after list of players we should cut to make room. I don't like seeing commits raked over the coals when they are looking around trying to make the best decision for themselves. But in all this time never have I attacked someone for these acts, even though I believe them wrong. Even though I'm sure the coaching staff is more than tired of making excuses for the fans. Aren't these the same things I see others accuse fans of others teams do to discourage recruits from Tennessee? Yet I see it here on a regular basis. When did it become such a bad thing that our opinion doesn't mesh with the masses? Is there something wrong with us that we can't read an opinion that we don't agree with and let it be? You don't have to agree with it. By not attacking the person it doesn't mean you agree with it. It should mean that's how they feel and to each their own.

It doesn't matter if it's on an Internet message board or in public, if someone says something stupid they should be called out for saying something stupid.

And just as a side note, opinions CAN be wrong, and opinions CAN be stupid. I can't stand how now days people think stupidity can be passed off as ok, just because it's an opinion the person in question has.

Long story short, not all opinions are made equal

As long as this helps in bringing back the power T, I'll allow it.

When an opinion is stupid it deserves to be called out. Yours have been really stupid.

How about you just ignore my comments. Easy fix.

So you can't take your own advice? You are the one on a rival message board, for some reason, yet we should cater to you? You can respond to our posts but we can't respond to yours, on our board? Lol

Nicely done. It would be interesting to see a similar "scan" of the typical Florida fan's brain. A grasp of college football history would undoubtedly be reduced to a single cell, whereas "self-assumed superiority" would encompass a massive portion of the cerebrum.

I'm not disputing Saban's recruiting, but I too have noticed a weird pattern of Alabama offering several prospects shortly after Tennessee does. Obviously this is gonna happen with top-tier recruits to some extent and I'm glad we're in the mix for those. But, it's also happening with diamond in the rough types and undiscovered guys, and it has been happening a lot lately. Hopefully that means our staff is good at evaluating talent. We'll see, I guess. These guys aren't making this up, though.

He's a Bammer fan...what do you expect? Just like Saban, they all feel they have a sense of entitlement, and that everyone should cater to them. Don't like the HUNH offense? Whine about it and say it causes injuries...blah blah blah. Don't like that multiple posters that are Vol fans on a Vol board notice a trend of Bama offering prospects shortly after UT does? Come on the board and blah blah blah about how awesome recruiting has been at Bama, and Saban doesn't seem to have needed help up to this point, as you beat your chest because Bama is so great.

Thank you!

Those triemes were wicked. I wanna build one.

You know Gentry is about the size of some of these vikings.

I'd love to help put one together. They split the trees lengthwise and only got about 2 boards per log but it's much better for repelling water if you don't cut across its grain. They put the root ends at one end of the ship, can't remember, one end is much better at repelling water intake. They also built the outside first rather than the skeleton, then braced it, making them much lighter somehow

We should do this when I'm in TN. Then we create a real vol navy with anyone who wants to row for booze.

Last year's method of waiting until the top rated 5* at a position dropped Bama from consideration, before offering the "leavings" has been reconfigured...I don't recall if Coleman Thomas was offered by Saban but players like that dotted their roster and were a big part of their 3 out of 4 championships...the fact that they sent Gaulden scholarship papers on signing day, shows that even with the #1 rated class there were gems they coveted strongly from ours...and now they know they can't just swoop in and pick what they want any time...they have to offer early so if you ever see Thig or Butch being trailed by a mouth breathing sort, sporting seemingly hastily bought Vols gear? That's a Saban stooge...keeping track.

That would be cool to pull up into Neyland in a rat rod of boats so to speak. They used sails too but only tiny pieces of a mast and sail have been recovered on one ship I believe. Later Norse ships eventually went to triangular sails I think. We should go old school rectangular or trapezoid, maybe even a Giant T

The T can definitely be turned into a trapezoid. We can name it "The General".

Lol, what about the Cafego in honor of my Vandy hating avatar?

Instead of a snake or dragon adorning the front we could have Neylands pose at the front.. Total badass.. John Ward at the back.

My advice? Choose your battles. VN will always have it's fair share of crazy. But it's up to you to decide whether or not that crazy affects you.

Edit: You choose to go against "the board" you better have your seat belt fasten is all. Don't expect others to give you sympathy for an unpopular opinion. Expect the opposite.

how does he bammar offer set with Gentry? happy for the kid. frankly, if he chooses someone other than us. that offense doesnt mesh with mobile qb's.

If your not watching film of kids your opponents are offering then your not doing your due diligence. It just shows butch can see talent
