Would you be for Bruce Pearl's return if Martin is fired after next year?

I don't know if Pearl coming back is gaining back room steam with those that could make it happen, but I know Steven Pearl is responding differently to questions about his Dad coming back.

It used to be, "Get over it. He will never coach at Tennessee again." Yesterday it was, "It's not fair to talk about when Tennessee has a head coach."

It may be a long shot, but it wouldn't surprise me if Pearl wasn't trying to work up support with certain boosters.

Everyone should put the coach talk to rest...way to much ball left to win...plus the SEC tourney. I believe Martin will be back...he could still lose another game and make the tourney.

Hmmm. Seems some are acting like Harts already emailed them a tip of why he wouldnt hire Pearl? Witch Doctor say please share what he said..no insinuations!...........

Not that it matters because I do not think that Bruce will be coaching for the Vols again, if Hart were to hire him (totally hypothetical because I do not believe that he will) and if CBP succeeds with no NCAA incidents then Hart is a hero. If however Bruce fails, everyone would know that his hiring was a booster hire so Hart would be insulated from responsibility. But for the third time I do not believe that CBP will coach here again.

We don't need him, there are other good coaches out there afterthey fire Martin. Let Pearl do his TV thing until he returned to NE Overshoe State girl's team in a couple years.

I'd say that's where our coaching search will start, not where BP coaches at next.

I am leaning toward Clemson or BC. I don't think Bama would take if for no other reason than to say he is UT's sloppy seconds and they can do better.(not that I believe they could)

I also think BP would prefer not to coach against UT on a regular basis if he could keep from it. Obviously I'm totally guessing tho.

Neither has Lou for that matter, but we all know he did or was willing to cheat. When the institution you just left gets hit with all kinds of infractions, they are suffering because of what you did. EVERY school Lou left was hit with penalties. And Dr Lou was nowhere to be found. Same with Cal.
