'15 TN ATH Jauan Jennings (UT commit 4/7/14)

Also, instate prospect Jauan Jennings is someone to keep an eye on. Tennessee has made up some ground there recently, but his stock continues to rise as Alabama was his latest offer.

One of the recruiting carrots that Butch is using, should really help in landing a QB. I have confidence that CBJ gets the QB he wants.

What would be wrong with signing him as a QB and if it doesn't work out, move him to safety?

If you don't believe he's a QB, then you don't take him as a QB when you know you need a QB in this class. Taking him as a QB would only hinder your ability to sign one in this class.

This..^^^...recruit him at QB..
put him on the practice field...and let HIM make the right move to db...LSU did a similar tactic with Russell Shepherd.

Much like Lewis wanting to play RB, if you sign Jennings as a QB and then try to move him to S, there is a high probability he transfers. A lot of kids are not willing to switch positions just because a coach says it's best for them. Also as another poster mentioned, taking him at QB would very much play into selling a top QB that he is your guy for 2015.

His father, Bennie Jennings, played in the NFL. Visited Miss St. last weekend. Selling him on playing quarterback

O/u on Shurb changing his crystal ball pick is set at 3 times.. I'll take the over. Dude flip flops like crazy.
