Do I think the loudest group wants him back, absolutely. However, loudness does not equal intelligence/majority. Does the real majority want to win? Yes, of course. But the majority (I would hope) would be intelligent to understand why he is not the best option and that others not named Pearl can win here.

Well I had a 4.0 and was on the Dean's list every yr in college and I would take him back. I just going off pretty much everyone I talk too. Very few wouldnt take him back and I would guess that the vote on here although it might change marginally but would be pretty close to accurate with the general fan.

I would actually like to see Pearl land at Alabama (won't happen, though). For two reasons:

1) He would have the NCAA camped out in Tuscaloosa, and because cheating is the Bama way, inevitably there would be major violations discovered that may not have been otherwise. Pearl to Alabama could be Saban's worst nightmare.

2) The Orangenecks would finally realize that Pearl's "love" for UT ended when he was removed from the payroll. What "VFL" would accept a job coaching a UT arch-rival?

Pretty sad outlook. I would rather Pearl land a job and have a decent career. He's served his time.

And I would also like to beat Bama when they are on top. Not a beat down NCAA violation Bama.

If he ends up in Alabama it will be at Auburn. IMO

Quit begging. lmao

Would you rather get one night with college-Kelly Kapowski or get Bruce back for the rest of his career?

Call me crazy but, if Tennessee plays against Bruce Pearl in a game I wouldn't be upset if we lost...

I would be torn too. I mean I never want the Vols to lose but at the same time, rubbing Cheek's own feces in his booger picking nose would be enjoyable.

Lol at the NCAA coming down on Bama for anything.

So you are a closet Bama fan. Ok

You really must have a reading comprehension problem if you drew that conclusion from what he said. He's just obviously not a Pearl worshipper like many. Which, by the way, I'm surprised you were able to pull your lips from his butt long enough to type that.

You are the one that needs reading comprehension if u didnt realize Know was being sarcastic. SGM is a kiffin lover and in turn might mean he is a pearl Lover since he wants the two together at Bama.

There's a lot of Bruce Pearl talk on Finebaum today. BP is receiving nothing but praise.

They talked about how valuable he was to not only Tennessee but to the SEC as a whole. Said he made UT the most exciting team to watch outside of Kentucky and basically how we are irrelevant now.

Mr. Magoo needs to stick to cartoons.

link?

Now they are talking about wanting him to go to Alabama and how he will be in high demand.

Finebaum said "I don't know why you wouldn't want to hire him. Unless you have a problem with winning and drawing a huge crowd."

It's just a radio show. Nothing serious just conversation. I found it interesting though that no caller once said they wouldn't want him or that no one should hire him.

Seems like only UT fans don't want him back.

Also, no one mentioned ol' Cuonzo once or said we were better off. Basically the opposite. All about how BP made our program electric and brought excitement to UT bball and SEC bball, and after he was fired the program took a nose dive.

I look it up and listened.
He will be in high demand without a doubt. You are right and it is only the Martin fans screaming that we won't hire him back because they want Martin regardless of the product he puts on the floor. I personally want him gone and Pearl back regardless of how this season turns out. Martin is now mediocre and ten years from now he will be mediocre at best. We need to grab Pearl while we can.
