Josh Malone II

Maybe they will race this spring and let us know who wins. Although I'm not sure id believe it considering North said he beat Dobbs at Chess, but in reality Dobbs beat him in 3 moves.

The wonderful thing about having Pearson, North, and Malone is that we can place them all over the field to take advantage of matchups

Pig, croom, and Josh smith will contribute aswell. I think all of the sophomores will improve.

I don't see Croom or Smith getting on the field much this year. And if it's one or the other, I guess maybe Smith could get some slot time but I am hard pressed to see how Croom would get any significant PT this season. JMO.

i think he will, once the QB,who ever it is,gets settled down and goes through his progression of reads

I can see Croom, because of his total package as a player, get plenty of playing time this season, JMO

I know it's blasphemy to some but Croom needs to move to TE so he can make it in the NFL when the time comes.

Time will tell, but I think Croom will see a lot of playing time this year. I think he's underrated by our fanbase.

Croom was a RS Freshman last season, who'd gotten better over the course of the season. Next season look for him to ball out and try to secure a starting spot.

I think it would be a miracle if Croom starts next season. He damn sure isn't a slot WR in this offense and he isn't beating out North. That means he would have to outperform both Pearson and Malone. I just don't see that happening. He will still play a good bit, though.

I love that we have so many talented guys, it's not clear which ones will start. If we didn't have Pearson and Malone, Croom would start and do very well, I think. The competition will make all of these guys better.

With who we have, you can move Croom inside against safeties and LBs similar to the way Cincy split their TEs. Mismatch.

He was flanked out too much last season. He struggled to create separation. Just didn't have the speed or quickness against the #1 or 2 CB from opposing SEC teams. I'd still prefer him at TE though.

I don't understand why people are so confident in Croom. He had one, single good game against the worst team we played. Two true freshmen did better than he did, as did a true sophomore. Sure, he has potential because of his size and athleticism, but almost everyone is saying he's a sure thing to be solid this year when he hasn't been any more productive than Jacob Carter or Josh Smith.

We are WRU but I don't recall us EVER having this kind of depth at the position..

Nash, Kent, Price come to mind but this is ridiculous.. North / Pig being proven entities, Croom coming into his own and Pearson / Malone adding firepower.

Now if Adoree...

Analysts keep talking about Malone's polished route running. Thats what im most excited about. Will be nice to have a guy that can put it all together. Wouldn't mind if we would throw some quick WR screens other than those bubble screens. I could see any of the WRs we have getting some good yardage in space, with the exception of Croom & Smith.
