Parents definitely want him close enough so they can drive in for the games. UT is the closest option and his family seemed to really like the staff and UT on their visits.

Isn't UT the only school to get an OV and UOV?

Butch is going to pull this off, IMO. It's going to be quite the NSD boom.

dont think so. im pretty sure he is right about us being the only team to get an OV and an UOV

Edit: His OVs were Tennessee, Oklahoma, LSU and FSU. still has one left im pretty sure. all other visits have been unofficial (UCLA, UF, USC and UT)

He did say business decision. So it sounds like his family is leaning in the best situation to succeed and advance professionally instead of going with the emotional choice.

Wouldn't it be something if Jones has this planned out just like he did commitments after losses? Go with me here......he knew we had our recruiting class all but wrapped up early so he told Jackson to hold off till signing day so that we get the attention of even ESPN. Well, I can dream.

Jackson has had his announcement set up before Jones even got the job. or around the same time
