How so? And I don't. I rather him come in next season and be the man and not wait until his Junior year to fully develop.
Sure I would like hubbs to arrive a year sooner and more than likely will due to the roster.
I was more comparing their tough freshmen years. McRae said a few weeks ago he wished he had taken the RS BP suggested
Wouldn't he have to go ahead and transfer and enroll at his school of choice for Spring 2014 if he hoped to play in January of 2015?
Sitting out because of injury won't count as satisfying the the one-year sitting requirement as a transfer if he were still enrolled at the original school would it?
This should get Barton more minutes at the 2 also, right?
My man is en fuego!
I think that most all of us agree that Hubbs isn't where we or he wanted to be at this point in the season.
We aren't sure of the reason and he may or may not be... (jitters, injury, slump, competition..)
I hope that we can get his injury fixed, get another few months of practice at a higher level and be "Good to Go" for 2014-15.
I'm a Hubbs fan. He's a good kid
He cooled off in the 2nd half. I thought CM went to him early in 2nd half to keep him going. Nothing wrong with that really. However, he got hot in the flow of the game without thinking about it and without running plays for him. Sometimes when you know its coming to you, you think about making it and staying hot vs just shooting when the right time comes. All jmo of course.
I hear ya. Its easier to get in the flow when your seeing more minutes tho. Also, that press kinda slowed everybody down in the 2nd. lol
Hopefully we will be better prepared for a zone press.
Unless he gets an NCAA waiver. You have to sit out at the school you're transferring to for a year.
If he transferred this semester, he could be ready to go by January of 2015.
I thought that was the gist of what I said. If he wants to play anywhere else in January of 2015, he can't be enrolled at Tennessee for the spring semester in 2014, and must be enrolled at his school of choice instead for spring 2014.
Simply being injured and out for the season won't suffice. He has to transfer now if that is his intention. Similar to what Jeronne Maymon did after his first semester at Marquette by transferring to Tennessee midyear.
The only thing I've ever heard is that Steven Pearl said on his radio show that Hubbs was threatening transfer if he didn't get playing time.
Even if true, Pearl seems kinda douchey for blasting it on the airwaves. I'm not sure I buy it. Hubbs doesn't seem like the type to do that.
