'14 JUCO DT Davonte Lambert (Auburn Commit 12/18/13)

lots of connections inside and out of the program, coaches, ex athletes, and most of the time the kids directly themselves.

if im not mistaken the hubber also works for the vol radio network.

It's either Hubbs or John Brice. I want to say I saw Brice on the coaches' show once.

Billy Ratliff hit the center (or guard cant quite remember) knocking him back where CS either had his foot stepped on or tripped causing him to stumble and consequently causing him to put the ball on the ground in an attempt to gather himself. He then left the ball there where Mr. Ratliff pounced on it. There was a very well done video breakdown done. It may be on YouTube. Check it out.

I was a freshman baseball player that year at UT. What I remember most about that play was how long the ball seemed to sit there on the ground before we recovered. I was going crazy and it seemed like 20-30 seconds passed...an eternity!! Lol. Great defensive push caused an unbelievable turnover and Mr. Henry took care of the rest. Just another piece of the puzzle in that magical
season!! :)

edit: fixing an oopsie :)

I before E except after C or return your degree. :)

Spot on. You weren't sure whether Brandon was the C or G though, so I just thought I'd put it together in a complete post. :hi:

And just to settle all arguments:

Travis Henry may have lacked character, but good grief!... what a player.

Deon Grant... Al Wilson... Peerless Price. :salute:

You have to be younger than me thus a much better memory. Your account was much more detailed than mine. What exactly are we discussing? :)

So nothing from VQ after this visit??

This likely means he wasn't reachable which IMO is bad news.

Hopefully VQ tells us something today that will change my thinking

That 98' team was special. I mean even the lower named players were good and really the backbone of this team. I mean, I think of a guy like Chris Ramseur. When Al Wilson missed because of injuries, Ramseur steps right in and we have very little drop off.

Ratliffe also obviously comes to mind, but Corey Terry, Ron Green, etc. These guys were great, steady players for us.

Man I miss the days of dominating defense and run
It down your throat offense.

Sup RR. We gonna get my cousin Lambert?

Tough one to call. Those acting as if nothing is to be worried about are unrealistic homers imo. You don't see other players commited doing in homes. So I'm kinda in the middle.

1) I NEVER....NEVER underestimate this Tennessee staff on the cruitin trail.

2) I NEVER....NEVER underestimate Auburn on the cruitin trail. They've broken our hearts multiple times in the past. Plus they've been known to drop off massive bags of cash in the past when all else fails. And they don't even try to hide it.

My memory of that game is sharp. I was 18.

Nasty day in Knoxville. I walked out of the room after we missed on 4th down, assumed it was over. Of course, I still came back in to see the Stoerner stumble. Here is a link for the whole game if anyone forgets what TN football should look like.
