He is a good great athlete, that doesn't mean he has a true every down type position. Heck, it might be okay for him at CB, but he better have a ton of INTs because imagine him out on a 6'4 230lb receiver on an island.
There is a real reason why schools are offering on the other side of the ball.
I don't think you understand the position at all. Cornerbacks and safeties are like shortstops in baseball (often your best all around/can-do anything athlete). H-backs, though a less common position, are the same way.
Hell there are lots of college cornerbacks starting at shortstop for their bball team and plenty of MLB shortstops that were college cornerbacks.
