I don't think you understand the position at all. Cornerbacks and safeties are like shortstops in baseball (often your best all around/can-do anything athlete). H-backs, though a less common position, are the same way.

Hell there are lots of college cornerbacks starting at shortstop for their bball team and plenty of MLB shortstops that were college cornerbacks.

Heck..I hope Adoree is not like Deion. Maybe the best cover corner who ever played. But a absolute waste against the run. I have actually seen him run away from the play before. He did not like to tackle. In todays game where your CBs have to be heavily involved in run support and be able to cover...Deion would have to man up.

Is he opposed to playing CB? If his idol is Deion, one would think that he'd be trying to make his mark there.

KBVol you may get total flamed for this, but I tend to agree for most games. I thought the second have of the GA game was as well coached a game as you could have had on offense. Now, the Vandy and FL games are a different story. The Vandy game especially blows my mind. There's just no excuses for that bad an offense 11 games into the season, and it cost us 15 extra practices and a chance for some of these young guys to experience the atmosphere of a bowl game.

It was mediocre. Let him figure out the conference and get his players in. I think we'll like what we see.

That's an interesting point for discussion. This team is not set up to do anything remotely close to what CBJ wants to do. That's not his fault, but this team was designed to be a down the field throwing team. The biggest complaint I have against CBJ and Mike Baj. is that I find it utterly stupid to run a read option with Justin Worley as QB. Dobbs can move some, he's no great runner himself tho, but Worley sucks at running the read option. We would have been better off going into shotgun split formations with Worley, and trying to pass and run the ball out of those sets. CBJ offense does not fit Worley's skill sets and it showed greatly. Worley was our best chance at winning this year, but other then the GA game, our play calling with Worley at QB was suspect. I understand you have a philosophy to implement, but you also as a HC and former OC have the responsibility to do what has to be done to so that your team can succeed. Worley wasn't comfortable running the read option, and Dobbs unfortunately isn't much better. In my eyes, if you are going to try to run most your run plays out of any type of option set you need a QB that posses a true threat running the ball. Dobbs can run a little, but against great defenses he's not taking anything past 3-6 yards on avg.
