I believe that last cycle Chris Jones (Mississippi state) jumped from like nowhere all the way to 5 star last year. if I am remembering correctly

Gaulden was already a 4* 5.8 on Rivals, not sure if was previously in 250. The other services are what lag (ESPN - 3* 77; 247 - 3* 89; Scout - 3*)

I think there's a chance Bryant gets a bump to a 4star but probably just a small bump from a 5.6 to a 5.7. And don't look for Johnson to get a 4th star, probably a 5.5 or 5.6. Woody Wommack said he's a "major project on film".

Thnx. Interesting that Rivals are the outliers on Bryant, consensus 4-star on other 3 services. Wouldn't be surprised to see Johnson's ratings vary greatly.

Still don't understand why he isn't higher.

OUTstanding measureables and he had a senior year on defense that rivals the best I've ever seen. Top 100 IMHO and likely to be one of the first freshmen next season to make an impact.

I like his potential better than Von Bell's last recruiting cycle yet Bell was a 5*?

Welcome my Friend. I hope you enjoy your stay here and decide to commit to the recruiting forum. there is great info about incoming vols and overall it seems like this the cup half full side of volnation. I hope in the end you choose recruiting forum as your forum to read and post in. :) :good!:
