Concerning, what the recruit said, this actually corroborates with everything else. I wouldn't interpret the comment as negative, just that Malone is keeping it close to the vest.

I think the defeat of USCjr was the start of some serious momentum, the subsequent losses have also likely damaged our standing with some of these key recruits. We all want to see progress and promises only go so far. At least CBJ has a past record that demonstrates he can coach/win. Dooley, on the other hand, did not. That's the major difference.

A win against UGA and at least Vandy would have given some solid substance to Butch's recruiting pitch. The Vandy loss makes it an especially hard sell to make.

Like others have said. Malone is hard to read so this recruit may not really know where Malone is going like he said. I hope we get Malone but we will find out in a week.

Ehhh there is no telling what they tell each other on their visits. If this recruit knew and Malone told him to keep quiet then I don't think he would have told me. Mosley is out in open and knows he is a Vol!

Per Rivals and Malone- Richt and Jones will be in on Tuesday.

Also Vols will be there Friday, Sunday, and Monday (yes this is real).

Dabo will be in next Monday.

I think he is Vol. However, I go to Gabe Wright and Vonn Bell. We put the full court press and then some for those two. Granted, Wright was under another regime that... (throw up). Vonn was supposed to be signed, sealed, and delivered though... :popcorn:

IMO, How this all went down....

Malone verballed to TN on his visit and signed his papers. Hence why he siad "TN brought it up". FSU got mad and all **** hit the fan and they released the info. Since then they have fallen out of the race because they know he is going else where. Malone then had to sign other FAA to keep his decision under wraps. Again, if we are the only school to get that # of visits, that should say alot...

100% agree. Butch will also use our performance against Vandy as further evidence of the need for Josh to come in and start opposite of North from Day 1. Really think this one is over in our favor.

Just how big is Dabo getting the last shot at him?

I am not liking it but there has to be a positive for going first to right??? Malone will be a Vol. And I hope not the last big pull of our class. Everyone, including Malone see the work this staff is doing. And I can't help but believe this kid wants to be a part of something that could be really special. Even with Candy winning we continue to build momentum. All the current commits are only reaffirming the inevitable..... One Huge Class! And it will be a class that will refuse to lose. The bond this class has is just amazing. Malone knows it. He knows this group of young men truly want him to be here. I can only hope that Josh wears the Power T. If so, WRU will be dynamic the next few years. And hopefully return as the standard in college football. GBO!!
