Josh does not like the QB's inability to get the receivers the ball, the underutilization of the receivers, or the offensive playcalling that he has seen. He has wanted to be a Vol, and UT has been his #1 choice, but he is weighing all options that would affect his NFL career.

Being said, with Boyd and Murray leaving, and Winston possibly being incarcerated, I believe we still land Josh; otherwise, look at Clemson becoming a factor with their high-powered offense and his relationship with Deshaun Watson and Demarre Kitt.

Despite Kamara's tweets, I think the coaches re-contacted him, because they knew that he would make it public. In doing so, it will cause Malone to either contact the coaches and say, "Nah, that's my spot," or "Go ahead, do what you gotta do," and in turn, VolNation can be prepped ahead of time and not be letdown come Dec 4th (or Dec 2nd, if rumor holds).

If that's your prerogative, so be it. But this one isn't over. We definitely didn't make it any easier on ourselves by losing to Vandy.

"It's still very much unsettled. Today UT isn't in the greatest position with Malone. Tomorrow may be different. I remember Richardson was all Auburn 2 days before signing day. Things change quickly sometimes."

haha that's fine just don't get mad at me if I'm wrong! It happens from time to time. :)

I still think we land Malone but sounds like Clem$on is making it interesting. Woody Wommack said that FSU "put Malone on the back burner" which sounds like sour grapes to me after the Malones likely told them nevermind.

I knew once the info leaked about Malone signing UT papers that this recruitment was going to become a circus and it sounds like I was right. Silly season is beginning, buckle up!

I do not "know" Josh, but I've met Josh. I do, however, have a friend that graduated from Station Camp last year that is relatively good friends with Josh.

I've been saying all along that this guy is a Vol, but our losses stacking up, our vanilla offense, and our questions surrounding the QB are not helping anything.

Edit: Regarding Dec 2nd, I was told (and I posted it here) that Josh may announce then following the end of the regular season (for the Vols). Then again, that was when FSU was still a player and Clemson hadn't become a factor.

God I hope Dobbs absolutely shreds UK for about 300 yards and leaves zero doubt in Malone's mind about UT. And then Chad Morris lands a HC job somewhere by December 1.
