I don't post often but feel necessary to do so now. I'm shocked at how some of you keep records of who said what and who said it said it first. If we run off all the insiders this website becomes people with opinions and making educated guesses from their vq and Gvx accounts and boob gifs. No one is perfect and people change their minds. I told my wife I was eating at yellow deli downtown and instead I'm going to chilis today. She's an insider on where I'm going to eat but I decided to change my mind. Is she a liar? No.

Simply not true....I can no longer post boob gifs...lol

He never said he was taking the job. He said "Tee is coming home". He did come home, for an interview. No one had even broken that news yet. You can read as much into it as you would like.

Like you a whole bunch so don't take me disagreeing as anything personal.

When skeet posted the "coming home" bit, he was 100% inferring that Tee was going to be hired. Anybody saying different is doing some revisionist history.

I like skeeter and really enjoyed his posts. Got a lot of things right but enough things wrong that I sort of put him the ballpark with LWS - respectable.

Problem is that many posters revere him and see him as infallible. He was wrong with some level of consistency.

What about him claiming that Tee Martin was taking the job. I understand things change, but he's been wrong more than he's been right. He is not an insider, and it is sad that so many on here haven't figured that out yet.

I don't recall him missing on more things than being right, but he did have his fair share of misses for sure. Can't accurately predict what a kid is thinking in every case. He was definitely connected somewhere though .

The bottom line is that when people miss on their predictions, whether it be an insider like Skeeter or a nobody like me, others want someone to blame for them being upset that it didn't work out. So they take it out on the people who provide information. Guess what? If you don't like the information....don't read it. You don't like skeeter being wrong sometimes, put him on ignore. You don't like POA's tweets, scroll past his posts. It's YOU who is the problem not the posters who provide information.

Ron bringing the noise with that post

And oddly enough it probably equates to the same percentage as teenagers who change their minds. I've seen no evidence that he ever gave us bad information. I'd bet the coaching staff (skeets obvious source) believed that Tee coming for an interview was a good indication of him returning to coach at his alma mater. If you don't make any predictions you can always be right and act sanctimonious over a poster. He never came off as anything but a good fella trying to keep us informed. Sounds like insider envy now.

Said it before and I will say it again: Stop trying to make sense. It will not work.

Word

I think what some of these critics fail to realize about recruiting is that everybody is going to be wrong some of the time. Unless God almighty himself is on the message board nobody can be 100% certain that a kid is not going to change his mind....Not skeeter, not hubbs, not even butch himself. If you want to find out who an insider is, look at 2 things. 1. Are they right more often than they are wrong. 2 How soon are they right compared to everybody else. Anybody who doesn't think skeeter has met both of these criteria, either isn't on here enough to get an accurate information sample, has memory problems, or has an agenda of some type.

Like he'd just troll us over Lamar Dawson for no reason right? Wouldn't you rather know that he told our coaching staff he was coming, or just have him remain silent and never know wth is going on. He was flipped! It's what recruits do!

Exactly. If you think about the 3 biggest "misses" skeeter has had (Gabe Wright, Dawson and Bell) what is the one thing they all have in common? All 3 told the Tennessee staff at one point or another right before NSD that they were going to UT. Hubbs and Fortenberry have confirmed this afterwards.

Not sure how anyone can blame Skeet for that.

Is there a designated thread for insider wars? If not, there should be..

Seems like maybe the only ones hating are the ones who desperately want to be an insider. Def way too concerned about other peoples perception of them on a message board for gods sake. Hey everybody! StoVol isn't the real me! That's not a pic of me in my avatar! It's Cafego! I come to learn about recruiting news. Not to admire poster accuracy.
