He never said he was taking the job. He said "Tee is coming home". He did come home, for an interview. No one had even broken that news yet. You can read as much into it as you would like.

Please. It was bad enough when he posted that ridiculous "explanation." Do you really think he started a new thread saying "Tee is coming home!" (with the exclamation point and no mention of an interview or it not being a done deal) and all it meant was Tee was going to interview? And then never clarified it wasn't a done deal or tried to explain it (after pages of discussion about Tee taking the job) until it became clear Tee wasn't taking the job? Smh.

Just thinking off the top of my head, Skeeter has called all of these things before any UT writers

- Peterman's commitment before Hubbs or Fort
- Byron Moore choosing UT when Hubbs and Fort were 100% sure it was Miami.
- He said Butch was gonna be the coach when Strong turned us down. Said Gundy never had an offer.
- David Ricky flipping to us
- He said Gabe Wright did in fact commit to Tennessee late, which was confirmed by Hubbs after Wright signed with Auburn.

Things that he's missed

- Lamar Dawson to UT. Skeet said Dawson called Doofus on NSD eve and committed to UT. Hubbs even confirmed this later. Dawson flipped to USC the next morning.

- Vonn Bell. Said UT received a phone call from Bell's dad that he would be at UT. The next day, Hubbs and Fort start talking in code that basically Bell was a Vol. They seemed just as flabbergasted as the rest of us that Bell went to OSU.

- Tee Martin. I have no explanation for this.

The moral of the story is that trying to predict what a bunch flaky high school kids will do when theyre getting pulled in a million directions is pretty hard. I find it hard to believe that Skeeter is some dude just sitting around throwing **** against the wall to see what sticks. He's been right on way too many things before Hubbs to be a fraud imo,

TL,DR...I know

Don't forget DJ Humphries. Swing and miss on that one too. OCI was the one telling people to not get their hopes up on that one. Turns out he was right and Skeet was wrong.

Good grief VN.

Let the guy come back without having his report card discussed ad nauseam. Take his word as golden or don't its your choice.

This is how everyone should follow recruiting. You are very wise. The info haters are the worst.

You and dschult are exactly right. Add the fact that the 18 year old can change his mind in an instant makes it all the more inexact. Information haters and posters that argue over and over about nothing waste our time and dilute the benefits of VN.

I don't post often but feel necessary to do so now. I'm shocked at how some of you keep records of who said what and who said it said it first. If we run off all the insiders this website becomes people with opinions and making educated guesses from their vq and Gvx accounts and boob gifs. No one is perfect and people change their minds. I told my wife I was eating at yellow deli downtown and instead I'm going to chilis today. She's an insider on where I'm going to eat but I decided to change my mind. Is she a liar? No.
