'15 TN DB Rico McGraw

Winning is biggest factor. UT, Ohio St, Vandy, Bama, and Ole Miss are recruiting him hardest. Received a lot of hand written mail from Butch. Likes what he sees from Vandy and Ole Miss. Very high on Ohio St and Urbs. Likes Bama's D and Saban. Says UT shows him a lot of love and he likes that. Will be back to UT soon. No favorites, will make a list next spring. Unsure when he will commit but it will not be til next year.

"They've had some key wins and some key losses," McGraw said, "but this summer when I sat down and talked to coach (Butch) Jones he told me they probably weren't going to be great this year but that by the time I'm going to college he said they should be an elite team."

"I watched that whole game," McGraw said. "It shows progression and what they're capable of doing. So, hopefully they'll start doing that on a week-to-week basis, that's what I'm looking for."

Besides Alabama and Tennessee, McGraw said he's kept in regular contact with Ohio State, South Carolina, FSU and Georgia this fall.

Will be at the Bama-LSU game Saturday

"Also, Rico McGraw gives an update on his recruitment. Saw him last week against Brentwood Academy and was very impressed with him. He's probably better suited to play safety, but even as a corner and running back he looked good and athletic. Definitely deserving of his four-star ranking."

*** One 2015 visitor who UA made another serious move with is Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth cornerback Rico McGraw. McGraw made the trip with his parents and sources indicate that they are both 100% in favor of the Tide. Alabama has long been considered one of, if not the top school for the talented defender and indications are that he could be an early commitment in UA's 2015 class.

Someone from Nashville who supports Alabama and Kentucky....WHAT A DAMN SURPRISE.
Let me guess, you love UCONN womens basketball, the Miami Heat, and whoever is winning the Super Bowl this year too...

hahaha I grew up in AL and moved to Nashville area a few months ago. Lifelong Bama fan. Wife grew up UK bball fan so I support. I do love the Heat because I have always loved the Heat and Lebron so the combo is perfect. Don't care about NFL and hate all womens bball.

so you were close... :)

I was just giving the update. Sorry to offend.

So, you're admitting to being a premier bandwagon fan?

When it comes to the NFL and NBA, I tend to be more a fan of players then the actual teams. Of course any team based in Tennessee I root for, but I'm not really a fan either.

In the NBA, I follow Lebron because I know one day I'll be able to tell my children or grandchildren what it was like getting to watch one of the greatest players of all time.

I enjoy watching greatness personified; thus following Peyton Manning, Tiger Woods, and Lebron James in their respective sports is quite entertaining. I feel like these people have the chance to be the GOAT of their respective field and it's enthralling to see history be made.

Butch won't give up in the pursuit of a Nashville product of this importance as Dooley would but does Tennessee have an enemy at Ensworth or something? We have not had much luck there and we need to own that place.

From what I know, there are a couple of former Bama players on their coaching staff. Im sure they help to sway their kids...
