right now it's anyone to win the SEC If Lsu get beat to Auburn doesn't it end their trip to Atlanta providing they both win out. I'ts up in the air with the NC also it's anyones game right now. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out in the end, as I started an earlier thread the playoffs will once again come up by the end of the year imo.

kentucky couldn't stop a mobile qb if their lives depended on it, we all saw how overrated UGA is. Florida's only real competition will be when they travel to Columbia.

We are in worse shape than USC and UF in this sense. We have 6 SEC games left and they have 4 each. The more you have left to play the more likely you have a loss coming.

how's the weather up there? i hear it's HOT........Indian summer in the Northeast this year.......hope it cools off a bit before this weekend, cause i'm coming. i want some good fall weather by Saturday k?

Facts in case you've forgotten LG- Florida has 1 more loss than UT does so , it really doesn't matter wether you guys almost beat LSU and beat us worse than they beat you now does it? For that matter it makes no difference how much talent or how much potential Teblow has now does it. What matters is that if we win out and Fl wins out that still puts us in the SECCG now doesn't it?

No baiting really intended there, jake.

Obviously, the mood here at VN and in the fanbase for UT has brightened considerably since a week ago. Not that Florida losing to LSU is a surprise, but it always feels good to hammer an opponent (UGA) who has been a thorn. And in doing so you got into the driver's seat for the East.

Certainly, if UT wins out and you make it to the SECCG, folks will be back on the Fulmer bandwagon (at least for a bit), but if UT ends up third in the SECE when all is said and done, those same folks will just say that Fulmer had the team in perfect position ... and blew it.

Everyone's an expert, right?

Yes. I think I've said that about ten times in the last two hours.

But that doesn't mean you will, and it doesn't mean that if you do you are better than Florida, and it also doesn't mean that if you do then you have a prayer against LSU.

eh, the CPF bandwaggon and it's current population is still about the same, well, it is for me anyway. I give a lot of credit to him and the staff for getting this team ready. that was the most prepared i've seen a TN team since the Cal game last year. and before that since the T A&M bowl game a few years ago.....so that in and of itself tells you a lot regarding the coaches.

i still think there are better coaches out there, and we need one of them for the long haul. that said, i still want us to win out and win an SEC title. if you don't as a TN fan at this point, then you need to really check the priority list.

and as far as the thorn that is GA football.....don't look now, but TN is 3-1 aginst them in the last 4.:yes: i think a lot of the shine has rubbed off Mark Richt.

and no, everone is not an expert, just me.:thumbsup:

I said if, and my popint is , regardless of wether you think we deserve to be there or , you think Fl has a better team, the fact would still be that we will have the opportunity to take out whoever else makes it (LSU is not a lock, I think it will be them but hey crazy things have already happened this season) , and the gators would just have to be a "super" team watching the SECCG at home.

Can we all at least agree though that Les Miles looks like the most miserable human being on the planet during these games? I mean, even the vapid look on Fulmer's face most of the time is a welcome relief from Les "Constipation" Miles.
