i confess, after all the crowd taunting he did early in the game........i defintiely got a giggle or two when he was walking off the feild rubbing tears out of his eyes.there it is.... making fun a man for giving all his heart to a game and being brought to tears. I could only dream we still had players that dedicated. especially as a sophomore
What is it about Baton Rouge that makes a Gator cry? Meyer in 2005, Tebow last Saturday...i confess, after all the crowd taunting he did early in the game........i defintiely got a giggle or two when he was walking off the feild rubbing tears out of his eyes.
if that makes me a bad person, so be it, i won't lose sleep.![]()
and.....the only thing I am making fun of is the arrogance of yet another Florida fan that has just as many losses as we do overall and 1 more in the SEC and STILL trying to show everyone on OUR board how much superior Florida is talent wise!! They played LSU great, got their ass waxed by Auburn and was lucky to be in it.....we have just as much talent as they do, we have just as much speed......we just didn't come together as a team or make the adjustments we needed to until Oct 6th.....Everyone knows how to defend Florida now....make Tebow throw it to win!! Florida beat us, congratulations.....it is a marathon, and we are ahead of Florida in the race.....Lawgator, you might be the biggest fan of the "paper champions" ever to lose the SEC East
BIZZARO WORLD:
The season is not quite half over and its already one of the strangest I can ever remember. A top five Michigan team loses to Appalachian State. Seemingly invincible USC gets beat, at home, by a totally outmanned Stanford team. USF is looking at a BCS bowl, a top five ranking, and a realistic shot to play for a national title. The only two things that seem to be true to form are LSU sitting atop the rankings and Ohio State once again getting way too much credit (don't worry, they'll get theirs).
And we still have the bulk of the season to go. Anyone want to take bets on Hawaii versus South Florida in the national championship game? How about (more likely) LSU versus Cal?
THE GATORS:
I am very proud of the Gators for hanging tough with LSU Saturday. They did everything they could except win the game. I know people on here don't like to here any pro-Tebow talk, but anyone reasonably objective sees that kid as the real deal. He nearly singlehandedly saved the Gators against Auburn and almost beat LSU at LSU. Almost. He is afraid of nothing and is a sure-fire top Heisman candidate next year.
I think we will win the rest of our SEC games this year and in fact I don't see us losing again through the regular season. Thankfully, after that bone-jarring hitting contest last Saturday, we have a much needed week off. Ironically, we need some help to overtake you in the loss column, which leads me to ....
UT:
You control your own destiny, but I think the game you are most likely to lose is at Alabama. Even at Kentucky could be difficult. Seems that this year you guys play much better at home. But on the road you have struggled and I think that will continue.
In the end, I think it will be either Florida or South Carolina getting the nod from the SECE. I'd love to have another shot at derailing LSU's title hopes and it seems that Florida may be the only team out there with the athletes to be competitive with them. I'd give UT about a 25 % chance to win the SECE from here, but only a 5% chance to beat LSU.

where i come from they call that bait.I agree that UT is currently in the lead in the SECE. I think insinuating that based on that UT is better than Florida or that UT is a serious threat at this point to win the SEC is just plain absurd.
.
Let's see......the MIGHTY GATORS have quality wins over Western Kentucky <eyeroll> and the monstrous team of Troy, and the untalented, no heart, no dedication Tennessee Volunteers and Ole Miss....wow I see Dynasty written all over that and signed by Tebow!! Gimme a break, Florida is as overrated as USC and Va Tech.....they caught us on a bad day and whooped our ass.......but I would take our team and our remaining schedule and our chance to win the SEC East over theirs every day of the week and twice on Sunday!! GO VOLS!!!
who hasn't looked at the schedules?
