The last class looks like it's bringing in some help!
Yeah and the depleted talent in the older classes is what is dictating all the JUCO's in this class. I think it's possible we see more JUCO's next years as well though perhaps not as many. After that I think it tapers off to emergent needs, early NFL departures, career ending injuries, things like that.
The thing about playing to win is there has to be some degree of competitiveness between talent and experience. I think this staff is scoring really high in that regard recruiting-wise right now. I also think that we're seeing considerably more development in the less talented members of the roster as a whole but next year is probably go to see as many as a dozen of the guys we have now wash out. My target is 45+ 4/5 star talent split between both sides of the ball and concentrated in the 3 younger classes.
I think we'll be highly competitive in 2015 but should be solid in 2016 with depth just in time for the Battle at Bristol.
Another question:
Why do you think Saban wasn't successful in the NFL?
He is arguably one of the best ever on the collegiate level.
And there have been plenty of coaches successfully make the jump.
So why not him?

Was on road and missed it. What was controversial play in the first inning of that game?
Something about not completely catching the ball before a transfer to make a throw to first. Ump originally called the player out at 2nd, but was overturned after they all met. Bases were then loaded with I think 1 out. The big deal was I think the umps overturning the call on the field.
You cannot accumulate vast talent edges in the nfl. Better players make you look like a great coach. If there was a draft in college do you think saban would have even 1 national championship... No, he'd have a record much like he had at mich state
I think he has an easier time managing 18-23 year old kid's egos than the egos and personalities of grown men in the NFL.
