Recruiting Forum: Football Talk VIII

Bama's 52-0 win tonight told me the same thing as last week's 52-7 USCe win over Arkansas.

1. Arkansas is extremely terrible.

2. Neither of the games were gauges of how good the winners are.

I agree.

I think you have to look further.

The 25-0 win against ole miss impresses me a lot. Ole miss is pretty good on offense IMO. Shutting them out is darn good

I think it's fair to say Butch gets it.

We now know the truth. With Dooley Palardy and special teams sucked. With Jones he and special teams are outstanding. I'm sorry for every Palardy joke I ever made.

It kinda make you wonder, doesn't it. Palardy has been awesome from day one of Butch's regime

Palardy is a beast!!!!

Don't look now, but we might just have 3 active punters in the NFL after this year. He's doing it all and doing it very well. Too much english on his place kicks to be successful at the next level, but his punting is consistent and accurate. He was the MVP of the 1st and 4th quarters.

I've said it earlier in the yearI have complete confidenCE that paLardy will make every kick he kicks I'm no longer surprise when he makes em

Saw where Fuad Reveiz apparently said on the post game radio show today that Dooley would tell Palardy not to f*** up before he went out to kick field goals. That'll really help a kicker with shaky confidence.

Fuad really hates Dooley with a passion.

What I look like at work right now in South Carolina with these Gamecock fans...had to rub it in a little...lol

edit: didn't work...gonna try again

I remember him saying something along the lines of he offered to help give the kickers some pointers on technique since we didn't really have a kicking specialist to work with them, and he got stonewalled by Dooley.

Fuad getting the cold shoulder was just another part of Dooley's closed-door approach to former players. That was the first indication I had that Dooley was going to cut off his nose to spite his face. How was I so blind that he was COMPLETELY incompetent?!?!

I remember something like that.

There were a lot of us looking past all the obvious signs hoping for the best. We're SO much better off now.
