Recruiting Forum: Football Talk VIII

Bruin, I'm with you on the not wanting to go to sleep thing... too much gold on tigerdroppings right now hahaha.

As far as expectations go, I believe 2-3 sec titles in 10 years is great. 4+ sec east titles as well. CBJ can recruit, motivate, and outscheme everyone outside of little nicky in the sec. The East is wide open. Uga, Scar, and Uf all appear to be on a down swing and Bammer will only have a few more years before saban is gone IMO.

Only one thingbis certain right now... don't understimate the Butch.

SIAP

@patrickbrownTFP: RT @DCTheState: Again, ESPN broke & Connor Shaw's father confirmed that he has no ligament damage in his knee. He has a significant sprain.

Also got this text from my bama friend.

Early word is Vinnie is out for yr with acl... We will hear more in the next day or 2. Not good to lose a veteran leader/starter. Hoping for over reaction but we will see

Not confirmed yet, but still...already hearing footsteps from next week, perhaps?

I used to be an SEC guy. Now I say screw everybody else. The SEC has been a machine for the past decade and it has done nothing to help us. The last thing I want is for Bama to add another NC. The only way I might be conflicted is if OSU snuck in somehow.

The SEC machine has definitely hurt us. I'll still go southern pride any day of the week. Even for the inbreds down in Bama.

Sorry if already asked, where is Escape Goat? That guy posts at a frenetic pace, yet have heard nothing from him as of late.

Easy to do when 8 conference teams are ranked. Most ever for any conference, btw.

Give me 50-50 against Saban and owning Florida and Georgia and I could care less what happens after that. Watching Florida lose is almost as sweet as a vol win. I hope that Florida fans feel the pain of what we have been through. They meltdown after a one or two loss season. I have a lot of sweet revenge to pay to these gator fans I know

I was wanting Vandy to lose today. After listening to some of my friends who pull for Georgia and how stupid they are about football and how to tackle ect............I am glad those morons lost and hope they lose every game from now on. I hope Tech finds a way to slaughter them puppies. I think I just saw a Bama fan pic a few posts back that looked like he had something for those dawgs to suck.

Anybody refusing to go to bed because you are afraid you will lose this feeling??

EXACTLY - what if I go to sleep, wake up, it's a dream and my coach is wearing @*%)^@*%^ orange pants ?

I tell ya what, I know we have some stupid motherfers' in our fanbase, but I have never seen anything like the Bama fanbase. Unbelievable. Only state I ever go to and get yelled out and threatened by people I'd ordinarily beat the hell out off. Unfortunately, my father-in-law is an Auburn alum, so we have to sojourn in that state from time-to-time. Barners are good people; Bammers...well, some are nice and some are just plain trash.

Bama's 52-0 win tonight told me the same thing as last week's 52-7 USCe win over Arkansas.

1. Arkansas is extremely terrible.

2. Neither of the games were gauges of how good the winners are.
