Even More Obamacare Follies

It's not Obamas' fault, he was trying to be conservative and save the USA a few bucks. He went online, designed a free website and purchased a $9 .99 per month hosting plan that didn't work as advertised...

he obviously isn't a fan of NASCAR, godaddy.com would have set him up sweet and he could have used Danica Patrick in a photo-op

Dr. Ben Carson didn’t mince words: Obamacare is “the worst thing that has happened in this nation since slavery.”

Dr. Carson made the declaration about President Obama’s sweeping health care mandate Friday during a speech at the Values Voter Summit.

“It is slavery because it aims to make all of us subservient to the government,” he said. “It was never about health care. It was about control.”

Young people in 45 states will see their health insurance premiums increase under Obamacare because the law relies on the money they pay into the system to offset the cost of caring for older enrollees, according to a new study.

Virginia leads the pack, as individuals aged 27 and under will see their health insurance premiums jump by 252.5 percent -- $416.55 -- according to the Heritage Foundation's*Center for Data Analysis
.
Virginians under the age of 50 will see their premiums jump by an even greater percentage, rising from $228 to $991.03.

Don't get the 27 and younger. I understood childten stayed on their parents plan until or through age 26. Has that been changed?

35 and younger is the age bracket that is getting raped. Also anyone who currently have a plan that doesn't cover pregnancy and don't want pregnancy coverage. Their plans are being canceled and the replacement is twice as expensive

Why are they cancel their plans?
Would it not be easier to add maternity coverage to the existing plan vs writing a new one ?

Why add it at all? If I don't want it why should I be forced to pay for it??

Oh wait........

This I agree with, stupid law, but if it has to be included it should be a very simple procedure to add an amendment to existing policy.

There's no reason to not screw over young people. Solid democratic voters, that don't carry a lot of sway in the first place. The cheaper you can make retirees health insurance the better. And it doesn't matter if debt goes through the roof to make it happen. That generation has repeatedly shown they don't give a **** about the future.

got an email from our benefits dept that basically said everything you pay for is going to be more expensive (rates, deductibles and out of pocket). Woohoo
