WELCOME VOL

:welcomec:

I'm sending an email to CBS to please take Verne and Gary off the air. They are so terrible, can't get names right, so bias it's disgusting. They are so clueless, too old and once again way to bias to the "hip" team. I'm so sick of them sucking off whoever we are playing, it's not our fault we play the toughest schedule in the world, give us some damn credit.

And I've had no joke like 6 friends who have texted me about tough one man and saying we are going to back soon. Majority of them buckeyes fans, yuck. But they also loved our new uniforms. They did look really good out there, almost brought us some magic too.

My only conclusion to this mystical yearly kick in the nuts is that CPF sold his soul and our teams future to satan for the 98 NC.

Devestated but encouraged, very hard to describe the emotion. Still sitting here. Really thought it was happening.

Fantastic performance by Tennessee tonight. Pig and North emerged as playmakers, Vereen and JRM as well, and Worley finally looks comfortable with this offense.

CBJ playcalling in the second half was phenomenal. Tennessee had the number 6 team in the country on the ropes, and shouldn have won. No, the team didn't win, but the system seemed tob have clicked w the players.

I believe everyone has bought into the system. Especially the recruits and commits of the '14 class. Our crowd was electric. The visiting recruits got to exp Neyland rocking. My most pleasant surprise was the 102,000 fans applauding the effort... will go a long way w recruits.

I am truly proud to be a Vol today.

SCar better be ready, because UT has two weeks to buildbup an appetite for a signature win.

Still on our side of the Field for sure right? Balls

I thought one was on their side of the field, however .... this is most balls a Tennessee coach has shown in a long time.....

And how bout Butch getting flagged beginning the second half

I feel the same. Feel like we definitely deserved to win. If we get one call to go our way or at least not against us so many times we do win, imo. Heart breaker right there. Can't imagine how the players feel.

Well, I guess Tyler from Georgia is smiling tonight. "How we gonna beat insert now!" Geez. Grow a pair, kid.

I don't even get on VN during games anymore. Haven't even caught up on this thread before posting.

I'm gonna say this. There is NO such thing as a moral victory at TN anymore, so this one just racks up as a loss...........

BUT, I cannot remember the last time I was as proud of a TN team as I was in this game. Worley manned up and lead team. Neal put the running game on his shoulders, McCullers shut down the inside run. I could go on and on about the good things I saw in the second half of the game. WE HELD THEM TO 7 SECOND HALF (regulation) POINTS.

While Pig MAY have lost the ball on that play, he did it giving everything he had trying to get into the end zone. Hold your head up young man. TN may have lost that game, but there will be plenty of victories before you leave.

Proud To Be A Vol. :hi:

.

When was the last time you saw our coach crying after the game? That tells me all I need to know about Butch. We may not see many fruits in the W column this year, but it's coming.

On a serious note, good game from our guys. A loss is a loss, and this one was hard to take, but, then again, it was closer than I would have thought. Jones, staff, and team showed some real promise this evening.

I felt like we should've gone for every one of those 4th downs too. If we can't line up and get a yard we didn't deserve to win anyways

Very different perspective from GA fans in my office that have called or text me. They are pissed they almost got beat by us. Common theme is Richt will never get to the BCS championship game and win. I just smh when I hear it. I'm 40 and remember the days GA couldn't buy a win against TN. Now they get pissed if they win a close game.

I'd be pissed if Richt was my coach too. Richt was outcoached tonight in a big way. Butch > Richt, by a mile.

He really was praying on the sidelines at one point. They were answered btw

May not be a moral victory, but its definitely a huge step in the right direction. I for one feel more confident in this teams ability to win some SEC games if we play like that.

Forgot how it felt to have that sickening and euphoric feeling all wrapped up in one.

Chin up Pig, beat the COCKS!
