Does anyone expect any new verbals this week, weekend or after the UGA game? It has been a while since we have received a verbal. I say it's about time for some more!!

and oh yeah! We need to hang on to the ones we have!! I hope our current commits can continue to help lure new verbals and hold together this GREAT class!!! GBO!!!

If we can hold onto the ones we have, it is good enough considering how the situation is at this time. Any new commits would be a bonus.

Agree with Doyle. I'm just hoping to hold on to the ones we have, because it's a long way to NSD, and, I think it's safe to say, not all of our commits are as openly solid to UT as some are (i.e. Hurd, Kelly Jr., Bates, etc.). I just think it's better to play it safe with our expectations and just hope for the best, because right now it looks good; we just don't know what we'll end up with.

That said, Charles Mosley--tomorrow. :)

Its still the first half of the season and we are right where we need to be. I don't think we have any commitment right now but a 6-6 season would go a long way in landing some big targets. That record will show that we are headed in the right direction and the still can get early PT.

To all the Negavols on here, just where did you think we would be right now? 5-0? We are exactly where we should be. 3-2. Most likely 3-3 after this weekend. What then? Abandon ship? Some of you just don't live in reality.

Hold on to the ones that we got plus pickup a DL or OL then we will be good to go.

I'm sure most thought our record would be at 3-2 but its just how the offense has looked and very little signs of improvment and effectiveness from them. Though the defense is a real positive and can see lot of improvment from most all players.

I could see Dwayne Hendrix's Vol fever taking over this weekend with his entire family with him and going ahead, pulling the trigger to be a Vol while talking to Butch Jones after celebrating the win over UGA with the team still in their Smokey Gray's.

Some seem to think on Twitter that Eric Lauderdale may be wavering. He was offered by Florida and said he was committed to UT, but he considered it a soft verbal.

I follow some of the recruits on twitter and Lauderdale has said he is solid to the Vols.

Did you see today's tweets? Just asking. :hi:

Just checked. Nothing there to indicate he is wavering. Rivals has him as a solid verbal. I've never seen him tweet he is thinking about other schools. Just mentioned FL offered him that's all.

The true test will be whether he tries to OV to UF. If he does, ish gets real.
