I think you've got all the major points covered. You misspelled Peterman's name but that's irrelavant. I disagree with you about us getting 125+ and losing this game though. If we lose this game as described we'll get maybe 80 yards.

You misspelled "irrelevant." Just gotta keep it 100

We shall see about the game. If I am forced to make a call, this is what I see on our yardage.

Pass 168
Rush 132

Even 300, now that I add it up. Still not enough to win though, IMO.

fare enuff,

lulz

Poole ran for 100 on Bama a couple years ago and we got killed because 80 of those were on one run. It's gotta be consistent yards. Just don't see that happening unless we get much better play in the passing game.

How does anyone have any insight on Riley Ferguson's mentality over any of the other QBs? Serious question

I'm just hoping we put in a QB who can open up and run the offense. Would be great to have Marlin Lane put his foot in the ground make one cut and go. If there ever was a need for a Travis Stephens like performance, it's this week

We crack 100 and this is a 4th quarter ball game.

Sticking with 30-3 or are you thinking we can establish the run and hang around? As much as I'd like to think we will I just don't see it happening.

I do think Georgia and South Car are much more favorable matchups for us tho.

Just reading from Butch's descriptions, sounds like Peterman is the one who wants the chance to prove himself as a starter more than anyone.

I've changed to 24-6. I feel like a homer.

60-70 rushing yards.

Over or under 100 rushing this week?

From what I can tell so far it's because everyone who talks about him always uses the term "winner" in their descriptions and he took a bunch of pictures in HS that everybody says the work "swag" afterwards when they see them. Plus...tats.

So, it's pretty scientific.

I think it's largely based on a recent radio interview with his dad. And, no, the interview didn't come off sounding pompous. He was very fair to all the QBs.

Also, probably bits from Jones about Ferguson having that alpha male quality that he's looking for.

As for knowing the mindset of the other three QBs, I'm not sure. Worley is the only one that I recall having much media time.

I like this prediction.

Also, for those who are saying UF has struggled offensively - they managed 413 yards against Miami, who is a solid defensive team. Miami forced TOs when they needed to (4 fumbles, 3 lost). UF ran 77 plays, averaging 5.4 yards per play, and had possession time of 38:20 (nearly doubling Miami's TOP). Moreover, UF converted 6 of 15 3rd downs.

The only statistic I wish I had were "big plays," or single plays for 20+ yards. At any rate, those are not statistics of a struggling offense, IMO.

I'm feeling something like 27-9. The game will not be as close as the score initiates. Until we get a QB willing to take it on the read option this offense will be very vanilla and UF will smother us

I'll say this again. If we are north of 100 yards rushing against this team put that in your pocket as a positive for all the other SEC games we will play. This FL D is probably the best at Run D of any other we will see this year. I'd even toss Bama into that argument at this point.

I believe we have run better against Bama that we have FL the last several years. Too lazy to look up the stats though.

No way we hold Florida under 30 points.
