Agree Jave. I see no difference. Both were helping get rid of evidence and covering for these guys. I don't know why he hasn't been charged?

Was the girl drugged I wonder? If not, how much alcohol would she have had to have consumed to keep her unconscious through all of that?

I have never drank so don't know the extent of the effect it can have. Surely what was described there would wake you up unless drugged?

I would bet there was more than alcohol involved. I'm not saying she was drugged, but I'd be shocked if she had not consumed drugs.

Maybe it's just the way I'm reading this but the cocaine use doesn't seem to have set off any alarm bells with Boyd or the other players. I realize that's not the main attention grabber of the story but are we to surmise that cocaine use on the vandy squad is not all that uncommon? I wonder how parents would perceive this.

Ehhh if you toss back enough you can be rendered either completely unconscious or wakened-unconsciousness (black out).

I'm gonna say that she more than likely had only drank and had drank a **** ton like most college "scene" girls do

I would think she was. To be raped by 4 guys, whether it be the conventional way or a****y, and still be unconscious.....just wow!! I'd think she would of had to been drugged.

The only thing I can think of is Vanderburg didn't send the video/pics to him like he did to Boyd.

Regardless, Carta-Samuels was involved in at least moving the girl. Seems he was as much involved as Boyd except for receiving the video/pics. Let me think which is worse..... moving an unconscious girl and knowing what was about to happen to her would not be good or accepting $1,300 to help support your family? It's not even close! BS

In a way, I kinda feel bad for Boyd IF he didn't ask Vanderburg to send him the video/pics. I understand he deleted the evidence (and fwiw I think he was told to do so by higher ups, possibly Franklin JMO) and didn't take it to the proper authorities but if that was me I'd be pissed that I just happened to be the unlucky one it was sent to instead of Carta-Samuels or whoever else.

It'll be very interesting to see if Boyd is back on the team soon, imo. If he's not, could that be bc he has told the authorities who actually ordered him to delete the evidence (someone in the AD, asst coaches, or Franklin himself)?) I think it could possibly be a sign of more to come if Boyd is not reinstated. Something to watch, imo.

Have you never seen the goofy things you can do to someone after they have passed out drunk with their shoes still on (Party foul). People get their faces wrote on, smacked, punched, picked up and placed other places, have huge sums of objects placed on them, etc...

It is completely within the realm of possibility that the Candy players went train on her and she would never wake up during

I agree. It has gotten some national coverage but if it was us or another bigger program it'd be a lot bigger of a story and it would be discussed much more.

That's what I'm wondering too. Boyd needs to be gone, no doubt. ACS and the van der Wal kid I am not so sure about. I don't know if they mean they brought the girl in the room before the rape or after. If it was before, I'm sure they thought it was safe to put Vandenburg's girlfriend in his room. Idk the whole thing is wild.

Alcohol will take your rear end out, but if something like that were going on, you'd at least occasionally revive. I guess the question would be whether or not you would remember afterwards, but something of that magnitude would probably at least ring one or two bells. As I understand, she knew nothing of it until she was alerted to the video. Most likely, some sort of drug was involved. Doesn't matter though. It's not her fault. I don't care if someone drinks or does drugs. They shouldn't be violated.

Yeah my big brother was out partying with some friends the night before , and My dad and I were watching Football, he comes out of his room and through the living room to get something to drink, and he has a two foot weiner on his back and doesn't even know it. My dad says you get a little drunk last night. My bro says No just hung out with some friends. LOL
