"You can watch Beech-Independence tonight at 8 est on CSS.

Obviously, Hurd won't be playing but Gaulden and Wharton will be and Beech also features one of the Marion's top two or three long snappers in 2015 in Riley Lovingood."

I believe they have used him several times as the pulling guard on the Power-O plays.

Seems like he came in specifically for that play call. Must be much quicker than the other OL.

Wiesman at guard and Bullard could move to the TE. He did that last year against NC State.

Breaking news from the great state of Texas:

Contract negotiations between the University of Texas and former Tennessee head coach and legend Philip Fulmer have hit several snags.

Coach Fulmer has Tentatively Named Lane Kiffin as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
Derek Dooley as wide receiver and TE coach
James Franklin as defensive Cordinator.

USC and the Cowboys have not offered texas enough money yet for kiffin and dooley respectively.
Franklin may have to wait to have a parole officer assigned to him prior to making a commitment to the Longhorns. Franklin is quoted as saying that it will not be a problem as he intends to make his parole officer his agent as well.

What, don't believe me? This could happen...

Who do you know to be able to get this information Doc? You may be able to get a part-time job with ESPN if you keep this up. :)

From news article:
Chris Boyd was charged with erasing a video... Boyd pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor Friday morning. He will serve 11 months and 29 days on probation and his record will be expunged at the conclusion of his probation.
As part of the deal, he must testify against four of his former teammates who are also charged in the rape case.
Following Friday's court hearing, Boyd's attorney said his client learned a "painful lesson for all of this."
Roger May said Boyd was forced into a situation he did not fully understand.

I wonder if someone on the coaching staff "forced" him to erase the video?

I can't believe we're this thin at slot right now, it seems like just yesterday we had a whole handful of receivers that we wanted to use. Hope Pig and Johnson are able to play tomorrow..

Although they haven't said it publicly, the first two games indicate that they might want to redshirt Jackson if we can avoid any injuries up front.

I think they actually did state this publicly - could be wrong but i seem to remember CBJ saying he spoke with him and decided it was in his best interests to get the 2 years to start if possible

One of my neighbors is a big Longhorn fan. i think out of frustration more than anything, he said Texas would do better if they hired all of the recent ex Tennessee head coaches.

Insider information? You be the judge. :)

Thurman said one of the four accused ex-players, Brandon Vandenburg, was asking Boyd for help on the night of the incident, and that at one point Vandenburg advised Boyd to delete the video he had sent.

He said Boyd, Vanderbilt quarterback Austyn Carta Samuels and Vanderbilt tight end Dillon van der Wal helped move the alleged victim.

Thurman said Boyd and Vandenburg also had a discussion, via text messages, about whether the unconscious woman would remember anything about what happened.

Boyd later met with some of the players at a Popeye’s restaurant to discuss what had happened.
