I would wager if its top 300, then we have more. Our entire O line will probably play in the NFL some day, as will many in our defense. They may not be first rounders, but they'll play and have solid to all pro careers (for the likes of Richardson and maybe even some defensive guys)
Yep just saw it on twitter and thought it was interesting. Said there were 20 players in our game ranked in the top 300

Not to beat a dead horse, but Vince Fererra is on local radio here in Jackson, TN. He just said that during Gruden's QB camp this offseason, Bray said that before the Florida game last year, he and a lot of the other players thought they were not going to lose again, and were solely thinking about Alabama.

Does anyone know if Bray actually said that? I had never heard it before.

Yeah he did say that. I saw it but he worded it a little different. Something along the lines of "after the first two games we thought we were really good and were already talking about playing bama undefeated."

I doubt they would've had a similar attitude if Butch was the coach. I'm kinda curious if the last staff could tell that the players were feeling that confident and didn't try to temper expectations or if the coaches themselves were also feeling that confident along with the players.

No way. Texas will not hire an up and comer. They will fork out the money to get a proven coach. Anyone think Fulmer would be considered?

Lol babyavi, you are better than that. Never thought I'd see a no way to Kingsbury's and a question as to whether or not they would consider Fulmer in the same sentence

I didn't say that I thought it would be a smart move, but Fulmer's name comes up frequently with HC openings. Just was throwing the question out if anyone thinks his name would be mentioned if a job like Texas came open. Kingsbury has been a HC for 2 games, and you think an elite program like Texas would consider hiring him? I don't.

He has been a coordinator with impressive offensive teams, young and hip, knows Texas like a boss. Really could see it. Way more than Fulmsr, that would never happen

Kingsbury leave his alma mater? Texas would be a hard job to turn down.

As much respect as kingsbury gets as an OC, Texas is gonna go big on their next HC. HC experience a must

Texas top 5 candidates IMO
1) Saban
2) Strong
3) Patterson
4) Peterson
5) Carroll/Gruden

Anybody else would be a major disappointment to the Texas fan base.

Definitely agree. He and North need a lot more touches.

I bet we see them both coming out of the backfield more in this game. I think we're about to see the play book opened up big time. Should be fun, although I still don't think it will be nearly enough.

Yeah, I don't see Kliff being in serious consideration.
