Chili's had them on the menu for a little while last year. Other than the Cajun Ribeye (which is no longer on their menu) it's the best thing I've ever had there.

Everything at Chili's is so bland. I'm starting to think this is just a problem with Knoxville Chili's tho.

I posted a pic here somewhere of a marque sign on the restaurant I ran down on the beach, the one Slice had been to. I put "Best Steaks on the Beach, You can't beat our meat". I only left it up long enough to get a picture of it.

Mrs. Mull once did a commercial where she declared "Cas Walker has the biggest nuts in town!" Always funny when people put so little thought into what they are saying.

The Margarita Flatbread is ree dic u lus!! I haven't ordered anything else since they put it on the menu. We used to go there about twice a month. The one we go to here never disappoints, especially the chips n salsa.

So, back to the masa harina...

Two days late, but google for a good tamale recipe and make some tamales. They keep well in the freezer for those times when you need something quick.

There are only 3 things I know to use masa harina for. Tortillas, tamales and to make a slurry for thickening your authentic tex-mex chili.

Usted es bienvenido. En algún momento tu y YO unas copas y salir a los pollitos bang algunos mexicanos.

FYI, internet translators do a poor job. The longer the sentence, the more non-sensical the reply. I seriously doubt if Spanish speaking folks would understand this. Now me, being a bilingual Latino-noogan, get what you were trying to say. :)

Did you use your normal recipe and add the 7up, or replace something?

It was just recipe friends had been talking about. 4 cups of Bisquick, 8oz sour cream, 1 cup 7-up. If I make scratch biscuits it's self-rising flour, buttermilk, and crisco.

I asked about the yogurt cause I wasn't super fond of the "tang" they had with the sour cream.

Behr, all things considered they are really good! Couldn't be easier to make. Definite go to for a mom that wants something homemade.

Reckon plain yogurt could work in place of the sour cream?

Plain Greek yogurt works great for a sub for sour cream

Bet you make a pretty good bicit. What are your measurements? :)(Flour, buttermilk and crisco)

Were the 7up biscuits "light"? Do you think they could have handled some shredded chez and garlic in the mixture?
