Again, not worried. He was 3rd fastest in practice.

On the old configuration at Bristol, starting dfl would be an almost insurmountable hill to climb. Since the repave where you can run multiple lanes and pass with ease, if they can either repair the car back to where it was in practice or hit the setup on his backup car, he should have no problem being a factor tomorrow night.

I think there's more people at tonight's Busch race than there were at the spring Cup race. Probably a good sign for attendance tomorrow night.

Night race is just about always packed out?

Used to be nearly impossible to get tickets. A few years ago it got to the point that attendance had fallen enough that you could easily see empty seats on TV. Last year was better after the repave, but I still don't think it sold out. I'm not sure if tomorrow is sold out or not, but I remember that the spring race attendance this year was pathetic. I have a friend in the National Guard who told me he threw over 40 tickets in the trash because he couldn't even give them away.

Also, my buddy who threw away all those spring race tickets was only able to get 2 for tomorrow night, so clearly the demand is MUUUUCH higher for the night race.

Bristol Motor Speedway has produced more accidents than any other track on the circuit dating back to 1990.

I can see that happening. People drink a lot of beer there, and sometimes the lines to the bathrooms are really long. It's pretty embarrassing that they track that though.
