He's a hell of a driver, but he's also a hell of douche. I can't act like he didn't outclass everybody on the track tonight, I just don't think he or any other Cup regulars have any business dropping down and dominating Nationwide races, much less the Truck Series.

Good Driver. Complete ass when things don't go his way. I don't get where people said his brother is improved. He was threatening to fight reporters as recently as last year.


I don't care about the cup guys in the lower series. They ain't gonna change it.

At least his brother has managed to seem more likable by driving for a single-car team and playing the role of underdog and possible Chase spoiler. Even if he's been exiled there due to his childish behavior, it's hard to root against a single-car team in a sport that is dominated by 4 or 5 super-teams. Kyle on the other hand goes in the opposite direction and just runs as a ringer in series that he is FAR too talented for. Cheering for him in Nationwide and Truck Series races is effectively the same as sitting down at a Las Vegas blackjack table and rooting for the house to clean everyone out.

Yeah, I think I am actually happier for Furniture Row than I am Kurt.

I think people are going to get annoyed with KB doing Busch and Craftsman, because a lot of people hate KB.

I would like to think that if I was Kyle Busch fan that I wouldn't get any enjoyment out of him winning races against the puppy dogs. But then I think about Mark Martin running the Truck Series a few years back and dominating the races he ran seemingly more than Kyle does. I enjoyed that very much, so I can't be hypocritical.

To me it's a problem simply because the lower series should be an opportunity for up and comers to showcase their talents, not for established top-10 Cup drivers to reaffirm for everyone how they're the best drivers out there. Plenty of other sports have eligibility requirements where once you reach a certain point you don't just get to go back down to lower levels and dominate. I don't like KB, but this isn't just about him. This is an issue I've had with NASCAR that predates KB's arrival on the scene.

You must not realize that thes cup guys running trucks an Nationwide cars is what helps sell tickets. Also, if you ask the lower division regulars(especially the young ones) they like it. It gives them a chance to see how they match up. It's just another learning experience for them.


That being said, I do think there should be a limit to how many lower tier races a Cup driver can run, and I think they should have to start from the rear of the field.

I bet they think differently though when they are running second with one lap to go and they are looking at the back of Busch or Keselowski's car, they probably think, "Man, if only he wasn't here..."
