More on CIA guys and Benghazi

I find it hilarious but not surprising that LG is defending his "fake scandal" BS by arguing there was a large contingent of CIA there on some special operation. If that's true then the admin is covering up that operation - check the testimony in Congress; no one seems to know about some significant CIA operation being run out of diplomatic facilities.

Bottomline, the administration has slow walked and blocked every effort to find out what really happened and has shown zero progress in pursuing what happened OR those responsible.

1) its the CIA insisting on secrecy, not the White House. Surely you can understand why.

2) Congress intelligence committees, including prominent Republicans, on this and not crying foul. Its just the amateurs on Issa's witch hunt panel whining at this point and they'd do well to quit trying to thwart the war on terror.

Issa & Co in my opinion need to be investigated for treason in the manner they are seeking to make us unsafe.

No, why?

Link to point 1?

Thwart the war on terror? That war has been officially ended. It's absurd to say that Issa's committee is doing anything to impact defensive activities. Treason? You are worse than all those right wing loons you rant about.

The extremes you'll go to in order to deflect any possible whiff of misconduct by your guy is staggering.

so you feel more unsafe because of the investigations than you do with a US enemy now armed with advanced US weapons (and likely chemical) slowly taking over the ME? An enemy that has shown they are willing to threaten and directly engage known US outposts wherever they may be? And while this was being done we managed to piss off one of the few powers who can stand toe-to-toe with us in that region?

seems a bit misplaced IMO

This has been the route on all of them. Lie low, let lapdogs gradually paint those asking for pertinent info as zealots or old news while disclosing nothing.

Sadly, morons like LG eat it up to the point of retweeting.

The Brits have closed their embassy in Yemen for the 4th and the 5th for security concerns at the end of Ramadan.

Treason?

Dude - Benghazi was a long time ago. The 4 people that were on paid leave have been reinstated and the guy who testified (Hicks) against the State Dept party line is still in limbo without an assignment. No one detained, no one arrested, case closed. What difference does it make?

The bad guys have been identified, charges have been made against them, and the Libyan forces have been trained on how to hunt them down and capture or kill them. Moreover, a team out of Ft. Bragg is still there, also tasked with finding the perpetrators.

I get that people are frustrated that we haven't been able to just go blow them up, but it took, what, 10 years to get bin Laden. And we knew he was the day of 9/11.

Sheesz.

Please? We knew who these guys were within a couple days.

should be pretty easy to just access their youtube playlist and see who commented angrily over the video. Surely the NSA can do this
