I'm on mobile. Someone post a pic of that poster with all of the former UT unis going in a circle. Uniform changes are pretty common.

Bottom line, uniform changes are no substitution for winning on the field. Winning brings recruits. Period.

Orange and White.........Those are the colors. Gray, Black whatever one or two games a year is fine with me. Not a problem. But, some are heralding it as the new traditional colors to go with. Young recruits want change...Cool, GTFO and STFU and go somewhere else.

Young recruits just want to see us do what other Nike schools do. The cool and unique factor helps.

School actually has several colors. We are wearing these for a single game this year.

When you're not winning three out of four national titles, you need to be doing something to market your school to attract the players who are going to get you there. To do otherwise is unintelligent.

FTR, there is no way the university is going to let them change the official colors away from Orange and White. I just don't believe that.

My apologies. I overstated. This is closer to correct, but why would the AD fight a coach from an alternate uniform that they can sell for more money to the AD.

History has shown that all decisions aren't for the best. We had one coach that we waited too long to fire, IMO. And one that we fired too soon. But, just my opinions.

The Big East? Look I like Butch and hope we got the right guy. He is new to the bigtime and I think he has his head on straight and is a real "football coach". However, all this talk about trendy uniforms are gonna make the high echelon players decide to come to Tennessee is a huge load of crap. If wearing gray uniforms improves our winning percentage to national title proportions I will take Rendezvous barbecue sauce with my crow. It just doesn't work that way.
