I really hate to say it Voxx, but the players are choosing to come to Tennessee as we are. They will be gone in four years or less. The University of Tennessee will still be here after they have left. Traditions need not, nor should not, be changed on the whim of new players or an unproven coach.

There's an idea. Change the mascot while we're at it. Maybe, we could get something like Pilot Pete in honor of the ever honest Haslam who contributes heavily.

The undefeated 1914 team wore grey more than one game a season. That sounds like tradition to me. The grey is even an official UT color.

I promise you it wasn't a "whim." It's a coach motivating his team and marketing his program. It is Butch Jones' program, like it or not, and will be for at least the next three years.

He knows how to sell it, if nothing else.
