With Powell decommitting I would like to see us get Humphries along with Mosley, Hendrix, Barnett, & Lambert. Could use 6 D-linemen this cycle.

Some guy was on TSR for a few minutes today talking like it was 65%- 35% Florida right now. Can't remember who he was or how close he usually is.

He was from Rant Spirts I think. Pretty accurate as far as I know (although the site is opinionated, I was talking about him specifically)

I want to make myself believe we are in it. I know the 247 crystal ball stuff is hit and miss. When there are 15 predictions and not one of them is UT, tough to say I feel good about it.

Same here, anyone know of a time recently 247 has gotten it completely wrong? If i remember right Daniel helms crystal ball heavily favored someone else but I think there was at least one UT pick

They're usually pretty accurate, when he narrowed his list down to 3, those who didn't have Florida picked, changed it to Florida. And all their insiders are saying Florida is expecting good news on the 13th.

I'd like to get him, I just can't get my hopes up with the odds so far against us

The only crystal ball pick you want to look at is Rusty Mansell for Lambert. He has covered him since HS. He was close to flipping his pick last week and if he does it means he heard something very solid in TN favor. I wouldn't worry about the other analyst in this case.

If you mean DT's as they are listed on recruiting websites I agree.

But I think we land 4 that will end up DT's at TN by time they graduate who are listed as DE's or OL. Isn't Mosely OL on the sites?

As I hope we can start winning again, I hope your right. When I said I felt we would get (2) DTs for this class, Barnett and Mosley were the (2) I figure we get. Maybe we are able to get in on another project type closer to NSD that everyone will swear was a under the radar stud who we steal from Florida International who will set the college football world on fire. Late DT offers coming out now obviously points to "we are full" as not being the case at all.

Yes the recent offer to a 2* stud who we'll have to beat out Wake Forest and Tulane to get just screams that the DT class is full.

The same people who act mystified or indignant when this staff is questioned for some of its decisions are mostly the same people who went nuts over the previous 3 years when Derek Dooley was called into question.
