Malik Brown - lol, so I don't know why his mouthpiece is where it is, and I don't think Malik knows either.

On Patrick Brown's video of practice, Sutton looks really quick. Our CB's have been so sluggish the past few years. Maybe a diamond in the rough.

Big part of our cb's sluggishness has been due to lack of pass rush in the recent years. Hope that changes soon.

Sutton was no diamond in the rough. He was a highly recruited player. After the coaching change UT had to fight pretty hard to keep him, most notably with Auburn. He's a baller and will play this fall if he stays healthy.

He was a big pickup for this staff. I remember watching the video of signing day. When Sutton's LOI came in via fax the staff erupted into a mini celebration. This kid will push for time and help on special teams this year IMO.

Defensive end*Marlon Walls*looks like a different football player with the weight he's lost. He looks much more like an end now rather than an undersized tackle that was pushed to the edge.

Safety Brian Randolph continues to progress toward being 100-percent and had no protective device on his surgically repaired knee.

Redshirt freshman*LaTroy Lewis*has the makings of being a team leader and his already helping fellow Vols get where they need to be without having even played a snap.

Justin Coleman*and*Riyahd Jones*worked alongside each other and went first during individual periods with cornerbacks. Freshman*Cameron Sutton*looks like a player and will be tough to keep him off the field. The cornerbacks group was led by former Vol and Detroit Lions first-round draft pick Terry Fair.

Good to hear about LaTroy Lewis. I just hope the kid can avoid another injury like his last two years. He's gotta be itching to get on the field healthy.

Ryan Jenkins has some Flash like quickness! Precision routes, too! Think he will be seeing the field the most out of our true FR wide receivers. At least when talking about playing WR in games. I think we will get creative with getting the ball in North's hands plenty this year.

I am just saying that he is better than a 3 star. Under rated by the recruiting services.

They couldn't even hold up in coverage man. If your CBs can't run with WRs at all then our guys will never get there up front. UF didn't have a good pass rush but their CBs and secondary held up all year.

Branisel and Wiesman are the only Cincinnati commits that Butch brought with him. I think that speaks volumes about their ability.

I think North is the most productive WR in this FR class but Jenkins I also believe is 1B right behind him and also think Josh Smith will have a great Vol career. Dude has really good size and speed. Plus Croom being a RS FR and expecting great things from him this yr and throughout. We have some potential studs and gamechangers at WR if they all develope like we hope. Plus Pig, Blanc, Carter, Johnson, Young and Harris is another guy with great size that once the light comes on can do great things. We really do have a nice combo of big, physical receivers along with speedy slot type guys than can change field position quickly for us. We have a really good WR Coach and cant wait to watch the development as the yr goes on, hopefully sooner than later.
