Move on from Malone?? I cannot believe what I am reading on this thread. Absolutely not! 100% take!

A take needs to be interested in being here. If Booth is willing to commit, you take his commitment and move forward. We have to many positions with a higher degree of urgency than WR. Rather hit the lines and LB position more heavily this recruiting cycle.

He is a 100% take. However, we are not in a position of take here at this time.

We are currently at the bottom of his list of schools still in the mix.

Regardless of where we stand atm, you do not "move on" from talent like this. He's perfect for Jones' system.

If Lauderdale and Malone commit I doubt we would take another. Maybe add Booth but not likely. Malone is a +1. If we took Booth and Lauderdale then Malone said he wanted in we would make it work.

I"d have a hard time thinking we'd pass on Booth. With Lauderdale being a JUCO, and seeing how terrible our depth is.

its getting ridiculous too. we are now at the bottom of the list of the schools that are still in it... yet yesterday or the day before, we were as close as any school in it.. and we should just give up

It's getting more obvious by the day. I can't wait to see what's next.

Explain. Is depth really the issue or is it that out of the WRs we have, we are unsure who will be productive? We have several guys on the roster that can play WR.

Was thinking the same thing. Seems to me we have an ample amount of depth, we are just not sure which (if not all) of them will produce. Adding more freshmen WR's will not change that one bit. We will still be unsure.

Jones likes to give 6-9 different receivers (including RB's) touches during a gm so depth and rotation are factors but what's more significant is that Jones' pass off is about timing. To play and be an effective receiver precision route running is the key. Those receivers who run disciplined, well timed routes are the ones who will play. And therein lies the concern.

"I've maintained that this is going to be a tough battle for Tennessee. I think the Vols are in a good position, but they're not the only school. He's still very open at this time in the process."

Watching spring practice, we don't have a lot of reliable hands at the position right now. But, that's without our freshman.
