Oh I feel the same. If here, what's the purpose? Surely not to site see.
Opinion on Roswell?

I am inclined to think that stories told involving extra-terrestrials and Roswell are lies. In approaching said story, I ask myself:
1. How likely do I think it is that an individual person would tell a lie?
2. How likely do I think it is that two or more individuals would conspire to tell the same lie?
3. How likely do I think it is that Government Officials would lie to it's citizens/subjects?
4. How likely do I think it is that Government Officials would coerce certain groups of its own citizens to tell the same lie?
5. How likely do I think it is that extra-terrestrials would come to planet Earth?
6. How likely do I think it is that extra-terrestrials ended up on Earth that were remarkably similar to the depictions given by H.G. Wells in his late 19th century fictional novels and modified by other popular culture works throughout the early twentieth century?
I come to the conclusion that the likelihoods of 1-4 far outweigh the likelihoods of 5-6.
And, when presented with "UFO" reports, I ask myself questions along the lines of:
1. How likely is it that a Government would test prototypes for aircraft?
2. How likely is it that a Government would want to keep these prototypes a secret?
3. How likely is it that a Government would lie to keep these prototypes a secret?
4. How likely is it that extra-terrestrials would be on a tourist vacation to planet Earth?
Again, I find the likelihoods of 1-3 to far outweigh the likelihood of 4.
Does any of this rule out the possibility of the former 5-6 and the latter 4? No. But, it gives me reasons to accept other explanations in lieu of compelling evidence.
