Anybody seen this bull****
NCAAF College football recruiting -- Florida Gators get creative on social media - ESPN

I guess it is an insider thing, my bad.
If you go to ncaaf on espn, first story is a glory piece on Florida using the recruiting methods we just made the hottest hot sauce

Uh.......what?

Here's how I read it:

"...first story is a glory pience on Florida using the recruiting methods" WE JUST MADE THE HOTTEST HOT SAUCE!!!!!

I don't know why....but I just imagine Michael Scott reading that sentence then all of a sudden yelling at the top of his lungs something about hot sauce...:eek:lol:

I am confuse.

Had a question about something. Pretty sure I read on here at one time that putting a recruits name on the rock was a violation. What if a school(let's say Ohio State) puts the kids name on a nameplate hanging above a locker with his jersey(#) in it? Would that not be even worse as the coaches did it and not the fans?

Maybe it's just a good photoshop job.

SIAP. A friend just got back home from Adamsville in McNairy county and said he spoke with Coach Gray there. Jones may be seriously recruiting Colton Williams for 2014. Said he is 6'3"+ and 305 lbs. It sounded like he is looking at another player on the team as well. FWIW.

Justin Hopkins ‏@JHopkins247 2h
#Miami and #Washington offered JUCO DL Julio Derosier who could potentially be a late 2013 add

Someone tell CBJ to get on this. Kid looks like a beast at near 300lbs and runs a 4.8.

Julio Derosier

I'm drunk and having a conversation with some family and having trouble finding a profile on my mobile. Can somebody link me to chase richardson's espn profile. He's from florida and part of our family but espn mobile sucks

Even if true, it's sort of like putting nametag on a seat for each individual recruit. It's all about presentation. "Heres the locker room. We've put a nametag on a locker for you with a jersey and helmet to try on if you'd like." Doesn't matter if it's the number he uses or not. As for the Rock, I don't know the exact reasons but try and imagine the Rock as a giant billboard if it makes more sense to you that way.

Williams was on campus a few weeks back if I'm not mistaken. Was Allstate last season and a huge part of their run to the state championship game

How is it racist if someone makes the obvious observation that another person has big lips? Seems racist to me to call that racist, especially when you assume the person saying it is white.

I'm not sure but I think this might be racist against pointing out possible racism. Judges?

In the past posters depicting black people with big lips and monkey-like features were displayed. Saying a black person has Big lips can be construed as racist.. its just the way it is.
No it isn't. According to who? I have never construed it as racist and don't know any blacks that have. You must have read that. Hell I have big lips. If a white person says I have big lips that's a pretty good observation. Racist he is not.

As you may have seen on the main FOX Sports NEXT/Scout recruiting home page on Thursday, the Vols got some love from the network as Chad Simmons pegged Tennessee as the school in his region whose aggressiveness in recruiting has surprised him the most.

Simmons: "Tennessee has been very aggressive in the south since Butch Jones took over a few months ago. They have really hit the road hard, they have extended a lot of offers, they have had many recruits on their campus this spring, and you hear a different buzz about the Vols down here now. Recruits and high school coaches seem to like what they are doing and they are off to a good start in the 2014 and 2015 classes."

I'm so glad this staff is focusing almost everything on the south. I admit I was a little worried when they first took over that they would over-focus on Ohio and they haven't done that at all. I do remember when they were at Cincy the Cincy 247 guys stated the staff felt Ohio talent in general was a bit overated after the Top 10-15 guys or so. That is one reason why you saw them bring in so many guys from Florida and Georgia when they were at Cincy.

They've only gone after the elite guys in Ohio, thankfully and kept the focus where it should be. In the south.

Observing someone has big lips regardless of race - not racist.

Saying all black people have big lips - racist.

JMO.
