FWIW, lws said in the football forum that the effort both on the foorball field and in the class room was not there with Daniel Gray ever since his friend passed away

I know that feeling. Sometimes a change of scenery really is the best case when something like that happens.

Cool story bro of the day.

I am friends with Jacques Smith on Facebook. Disclaimer: I'm pretty sure I've never interacted with him, I just friended a few of the players a few years back for completely hetero, non-stalker, non-creepy reasons.

So anyway, he "liked" my family photo album. Thought it was pretty funny. Anyways,

As you may have seen on the main FOX Sports NEXT/Scout recruiting home page on Thursday, the Vols got some love from the network as Chad Simmons pegged Tennessee as the school in his region whose aggressiveness in recruiting has surprised him the most.

Simmons: "Tennessee has been very aggressive in the south since Butch Jones took over a few months ago. They have really hit the road hard, they have extended a lot of offers, they have had many recruits on their campus this spring, and you hear a different buzz about the Vols down here now. Recruits and high school coaches seem to like what they are doing and they are off to a good start in the 2014 and 2015 classes."

Yet another Virginian to keep an eye on is speedy running back Vincent Lowe, who has talked to FOX Sports NEXT's Michael Clark about his desire to learn more about the Vols. Lowe isn't the tallest player around (5-7, 178) but he reports a top laser time of 4.32 seconds and a top hand timing of 4.22. Lowe says he wants to commit this summer. Tennessee is going to be selective with whatever No. 3 back it takes to join Jalen Hurd and Treyvon Paulk. Should Lowe camp on Rocky Top and show some ability, things could move quickly.

Can someone make a thread?

This kid has WHEELS!

Thought that I would share this story with y'all and let y'all share in the laughter....This was passed onto me by my father.

My nephew graduated from Vanderbilt today. After the ceremony, My brother and parents were speaking with Vandy AD, David Williams Vandy Chancellor Nicholas Zeppos. (My brother played at Vandy and knows both Williams and Zeppos well).

Williams was bragging how they were ready to take the next step and become one of the top teams in the SEC. My brother said, "I've heard that talk before". Zeppos piped in, "It's happening because I am writing the checks."

I asked my Dad, "Does he think that money is going to buy Vandy championships?" "I added that if money counts, every school in the SEC cares more about football and has fans that give more money to spend on it than Vandy does." With that I started laughing at the talk.:loco:

I think that there must still be a lot of burnt weed residue still floating in the air from the days that E. Gordon Gee's wife burned up the entire marijuana crop of Columbia in the Chancellor's residence.

Anybody seen this bull****
