HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Loved the part with Bronn, Tyrion and Podrick. I think one of the strengths of the show, as opposed to the books, is the writers ability to inject humor into an otherwise extremely depressing plot. The chair scene with the small council made me chuckle also. This was the best episode so far.

Of the series or just of the season?

Too many groups of people for me right now. I just got all the old names and tree I. My head, but now all these random groups are running around.
Couldn't believe the last part of the episode.

Khaleesi just became an official contender. Man this is getting good!

So many great story lines budding - and they are doing a fantastic job at balancing all of them.

I actually caught myself feeling bad for Jamie Lannister.

Epic storytelling.

Edit- MAJOR SPOILER- Seriously, be aware.

Don't scroll down.

I warned you.
Jamie became one of my favorite characters over the course of the 3rd and 4th books.

Book readers: I'm curious what your thoughts are on the Theon Grayjoy storyline.

Judged from previous comments, his current situation is a huge departure from the book. I was not expecting him to get punked that hard in last night's episode - I'm wondering what the motivation was there...

What happened? I'm behind on this season.

Edit by vader: This is a pretty big spoiler so I changed the text color. Highlight to read.

Basically he's boned. Bolton's bastard is a sadistic dude and he likes to mess with people.

It is a departure in the sense that they are showing what happened to him after he lost Winterfell in real time rather than in flashbacks much later on.

I don't think the show has really explained well who is tormenting him and why. I assume that is by design.

Major spoiler.

I loved that part in the book.
Yes. It was a legitimate fist pump when I read that.

For the record, my stance on spoilers is that if it has explicitly been shown or covered on the show, it is fair game.
