I've owed a few Fords, but that was back in the muscle car era. Just got some good deals and didn't keep them long. The last 30 years, it's been GMC brands, a couple of Toyotas, a few Volvos and a couple of Suburus.

How do you assess the Ford pickup?

If I were in the market for a pick up, and I sort of am, it will be about anything other than a Ford or Dodge. I think Chevy is better looking and a better vehicle, IMO. If I found a good deal, I would buy a Tundra.

I'm not. I'm looking to pay it off and then purchase a secondary vehicle.

If I were in the market for a pick up, and I sort of am, it will be about anything other than a Ford or Dodge. I think Chevy is better looking and a better vehicle, IMO. If I found a good deal, I would buy a Tundra.

Just would like to have a daily driver with better gas mileage. I'm picky, however. I can't bring myself to buy something that isn't a truck or sporty.

Tundra is a nice truck.

Yeah, I think those things might last forever with basic care. A Four Runner might be in my future if I could find a nice one w/ low mileage. I pretty much want something other than a car. Something to pull a boat, camper and something easy to load golf clubs in and out. Probably keep the Park Avenue. It averaged 29 mpg on my cross country trip with the cruise set on 80 mph.
