There are many reasons for a President's choice of words. He might be quoted later in court in some way which damages a prosecution. There is also a psychological element. He should refrain from saying anything which provides a psychological reward to the perpetrator. At this time, it is simply not known if the bombing was a political crime committed by terrorists or a personal crime by some lone psycho.

From what I hear on the news, he was running away from one of the explosions and his clothes were on fire, suffered severe burns. Has denied any involvement and has expressed sympathy for the victims. I guess he could be a crappy suicide bomber, but just as likely he's a victim, too.

They are also looking for a truck leaving the scene.

And there was a guy wearing a hoodie that they are looking for.

So at this point its all just leads and follow ups. Any of these reports might be true, they all might be dead wrong in the panic that followed.

**** you man. I'm sorry, but as someone who is 1/4 Lebanese and has a well-respected family over there, that is such an asinine statement. I have cousins who are trying to come over here on student visas who want to better their lives. They aren't ********** jihadists. They are Middle Eastern Christians wanting a better life.

Get your head out of your azz.

So, aside from Obama's omission of a term, the major institution that he is the executive officer of has responded swiftly and has, thus far, done a good job of managing the aftermath. Seems to me like that latter two are of crucial importance and the omission is absolutely trivial in comparison; yet, you hark on the omission.

It is a little odd that the WH calls it terrorism but the POTUS doesn't. It's not a big deal or even a deal at this point but it just seems a little odd. The official line is "x" but the guy in charge doesn't say it.

More curious than anything but nothing to criticize at this point.

It would be a completely moot point if it weren't for the Ft. Hood reaction, the Benghazi reaction, the Christmas day bomber reaction.
