Explosion in Boston?

Right...and, thank God for the Statie who harassed, patted down, berated, and searched the bag of a 16-18 year old kid who was riding his skateboard a mile and a half away and a good four hours after the explosions because, and I quote, "You are smiling too much. Nobody else is smiling. Why are you smiling?". And, of course, this "common sense" Statie found nothing in in the kid's bag.

Now, these same jackasses are going to be given this discretionary authority for at least another day, if not two or three.
But skaters are worthless punks so good for the Statie.

I still can't believe O didn't call it terrorism. It's a classic case of terrorism. I guess he doesn't want the "image of terrorism" to muddy his presidency

That's great. Why didn't O call it terrorism? Answer me that

Maybe he knows that when he comes out and makes a speech denouncing an act, but omitting the word "terrorism", that dumbasses will jump all over his omission and focus more on his omission than on the policies that he is trying to push through; or, maybe he realizes that when dumbasses jump on such an omission, other individuals respond to said dumbass with derision and aversion, and that this aversion carries over to the candidates that these dumbasses support?

UM Coach: Bomb Sniffing Dogs, Spotters on Roofs Before Explosions | Mobile AL, Pensacola FL News, Weather, Sports | WPMI-TV | Local15TV.com

University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach, who was near the finish line of the Boston Marathon when a series of explosions went off, said he thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines.

"They kept making announcements to the participants do not worry, it's just a training exercise," Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15.

Stevenson said he saw law enforcement spotters on the roofs at the start of the race. He's been in plenty of marathons in Chicago, D.C., Chicago, London and other major metropolitan areas but has never seen that level of security before.

"Evidently, I don't believe they were just having a training exercise," Stevenson said. "I think they must have had some sort of threat or suspicion called in."

CNN reports a state government official said there were no credible threats before the race.

Would you call this terrorism? Simple question

Does it mean that much to you?

Sounds like you're either bittching or trying to give others an excuse to bittch.

It doesn't matter. Stop acting like it does. People pissing and moaning over trivial issues are part of the problem, not the solution.

It's a simple yes or no question

Let me state that clearer for you, then: As of this point, I do not know if one of the motives was to cause terror. Thus, as of this point, I say would not call it 'terrorism'.

Is that simple and clear enough for you?

Terrorism is politically motivated.

not always. IMO it's fairly easy to see this is terrorism but we just don't know the reasons or perpetrators

but after how they categorized Ft Hood I don't care what the WH calls Boston or any other event. Just write the check and shut up

My opinion? No, there's not enough info.

Terrorism is politically motivated. I'm failing to see a clear message.

That is, unless there's an underground collective of American fatasses who hate the idea of marathons.

I hope for Os sake it isn't the "20 year old Saudi National" because O would then have some explaining to do, but we wouldn't expect any answers from this administration

Barney Frank on CNN talking about the importance of government and paying taxes so we can respond to events like this.

Not even 24 hours later and he is making a political point about taxes? Gimme a break.

From what I've saw the Saudi PoI was just running from the scene like any normal person would. Someone saw that and tackled him and turned him over to the police.
