i agree here - our MAJOR concerns come Fall are
1) can we find speed at LB
2) can we find someone to put pressure on the QB
3) can we find a QB
4) can we find someone that can cover at CB
5) can the offense "get" system, remember CBJ went 4-8 his first year at Cincy
Yeah Marquez is going to come in and walk through this high tempo fast paced offense blindfolded. He won't need a lick of an adjustment period of 11 practices in. I can't wait.
Brown, we are in the lead pack for Bars and we have a good one committed now.
That is not a great position but better than what we have for DT.
I guess you could say OL and DT are concerns for sure.
We lead for Davis and Bates at LB and have a ton of other names we are up near the top for.
We lead for Hendrix at DE and are right up there on a bunch of others as well.

RB talent and depth are much less concerning to me than those things - especially if Lane comes back in the fold
The reason RB is not a huge concern this year is because we will have one of, if not the best OLine in the country. Raijon and Hill will be able to get us through the year with solid RB play IF we lose Lane. They just aren't going to break the big one. Raijon has improved every year though, and I think he fits this scheme well as long he can stay disciplined to it. But it will get him out on the edge where he likes to be,

1) Brent Brewer/ Sapp
2) Corey Vareen/ Jordan Williams
3) Josh Dobbs
4) Rihyad Jones
5) Gotta just hope they get this, i have more faith in these coaches than last years to get the job done.

What if Neal gets hurt? He's going to be banged up at times if he's the #1 RB. I would bet a paycheck the coaches see RB as a huge concern. Which is why they're still searching for a 2013 RB according to Hubbs.
Are you trying to tell me Brent Brewer will not add speed to our LBs????? And have you heard CBJ praise of Sapp?? come on
RB is obviously a major question mark. However, I am glad our O line is as good as it is as that will mask some issues. Neal was having a good year last year before getting hurt. We still lack a third and short running back, and we have since Hardesty left IMO. This offense is more fitting for the RBs we have on our roster, as it should get them in space and involved in the screen game.
I think our Defense will be 30-35 positions better nationally than last year in ypg. I think we will be about 50-60 spots higher in turnovers forced. If Lane comes back, I will feel better about our depth there. Don't sleep on JRM either, I think we will see him get some carries.
Last point: seeing a not great product on the field is much easier when we are recruiting the way we are. In February we will probably be signing a five and four star running back.
