Poster asked Hubbs if our offense will resemble A&Ms with the pistol.

Depends on who the qb is. I think you will see alot of screens and more of a west coast style passing game and not such a vertical passing game. That's not to say they won't go deep, but I think you will always see a dump off guy and you will see more screens.

You will for sure see the pistol some.

The can run full back dive all day long as far as I care... As long as it puts lots of numbers on the board.

Both Jones and Bajakian stated that this will be a power spread, uptempo pro-style offense. We'll go vertical but the emphasizes will be on quick, short, precision, timing passes---all curls are perfect.

Jones, "We both believe in running an execution-based system and not a designer offense. Two principles we teach, effort and execution."

Poorly worded post in retrospect, he'll be an ~4throud draft pick. Guess I was getting more at the fact that he in no way belongs in the same sentence as guys like T bridge and Murray

I can agree with that. I want to see what Bwater does this year. I'm curious to see how well he develops and if he doesn't get dinged up again.

NFL teams don't care about NCs. How many starting NFL qbs have NCs? The only one I can think of right now is Cam newton unless you want to count Palmer's split NC. However I can name a long list of QBs that won NCs, but were drafted low and did nothing in the NFL. McCarron is a game manager on the best team in college football. Thanks to that running game of his, he is guaranteed single coverage pretty much all the time.

Game manager or not to say he isn't a pro prospect is ludicrous. No ones saying he would light it up at the next level but he will get drafted.

bridgewater would be the top QB in this draft imo the only guy with a legit top 10 grade too

im pretty shocked anybody thinks bray is better
I'm not buying Bwater is a special QB argument. Personally I think Bray is the more gifted of the two. Beating a sloppy Gator team in a bowl does nothing for me. Next year if he stays healthy will be the true test. They had some ugly loses last year. UGLY.

maybe in SEC play but give a 10 win team with SEC talent/coaching 30+ days to gameplan and they could beat any SEC team not name Bama. you act like Lville is rolling out 2* players and 260 OL/DL. Also what UF team are you bases this off...A&M/FSU or Ga/La-Laf? Have to play a near perfect game on O to win vs all teams not named Ky and 1AA south. Only people outside of UF thought this should have been a cakewalk. Many Gators believed it would be close or UF would lose.

Couple of 3* too.

They had 2 losses last year, in one Bridgewater got hurt and in the other he completed over 70% of his passes for over 400 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Oh snap, hopefully it's a commitment and not some engagement or Byron passing his art class which would Be cool for him!

@bmoore3vfl: Just got great news @UTLegendClass

Anybody else hope we pick up Daryl Rollins? Kind of similar to Autry. Speedy and smaller. Id take both! But that's why I'm sittin on the toilet and posting on VN

I agree, I was hoping someone else just because Gaulden seemed to be a big lean towards us, but gladly make it official!!! Vic thread has a clAssic picture of them two. It's great stuff, can't wait to find out
I said this about the pic Butch posted the night before NSD (the pic was about Josh Dobbs committing) saying I wish it wasn't him just because I knew he was a Vol and wanted to find out someone else's fate. Lets just say I got flamed hard.

Just a fair warning lol. I completely agree with you here. I think RG is a lock, so I would like this to be about someone else..

Edit : slow on trigger

Oh if it's not Gaulden, and most likely not bates, I hope for either Truitt or Payne. I just don't think it's a big ole lineman even though we need several.

Logic and timing says its probably Gaulden. And I hope we eventually get him.

But would be cool to get a big DL OL or LB

Hhhaha, well hopefully they understand that I said I'd gladly make it official on RG, just like you said I feel like he is a lock, Vic is his boi, And TK2, Hurd, buddies. I guess I really don't care who, I'm just excited!
