I may be the only person from the south who has never heard of this before today. One day soon, I'm going to fix about 3 of these with a half pound of bacon.

My buddy always cooked when we went on camping trips. He never ate or rarely at breakfast but he always made eggs and bacon for me. On one trip, he made the ultimate for me one morning.

He took a pound of bacon and cut it into about 2" pieces. When it was spread out in the pan and almost done, he broke 8 eggs on top of the bacon and cooked them perfectly sunny side up. Yum.........
