Sure it's that simple. Pearl admitted he lied. The NCAA cannot prove the others on your list have lied. They may suspect, maybe 100% believe, they lied, but they can only act on what they can prove. With Pearl, they didn't have to prove it, he admitted it.
I hate how Pearlophiles act like we were Austin Peay until The Tan Man showed up.
UT went to the NCAA tournament every year under Jerry freaking Green. The only new accomplishment under Pearl was the Elite 8 run, which would've instead been an unceremonious first round exit if not for a fluke hot shooting performance by Melvin Goins.
I need to apologize for the way I was posting in this thread earlier. Sorry TOP and Ed. I was frustrated with something else and let it get to me on this board.
Please accept my apologies.

You're crazy if you think most of his postseason teams played as well as they did in the regular season.
His first team was wildly overseeded at #2, but they barely beat #15 seed Winthrop and lost to Wichita St. in the round of 32.
His second team played pretty well but of course blew a 20 point lead to Ohio St.
His third team, his best record-wise struggled their first 2 games and got destroyed by Louisville.
His fourth team lost in the first round to Oklahoma St.
His fifth team played very well, the Elite 8 team.
His last team got destroyed by Michigan. I think we can agree that was not very good.
